I had to put some effort into reading this book. My original intent in reading it was to gather some tools for managing a group of team members. However, the authors used the first half of the book as a huge disclaimer and cautioned against using the team format if it didn't fit into your organization's culture and structure. I found myself saying enough already and just wanted to get to the core material. There were a couple of chapters, covering organizational dynamics and conducting team meetings, that were useful. This book was plentiful on big picture cautionary strategy and short on practical team leading skills.
