In fact, selling anything may be repulsive to you. Having been a salesman all my life, it’s second nature to me, and, by the way, it’s also the highest paying profession in the world. To put it in your perspective, even Patterson, D. Steel and S. King are pikers in the income department compared to some of this country’s great salespeople. This essay is a "how to" for those who want to make friends of booksellers, by selling lots of books.
