Overview

Just when you thought it was safe to go back to the bookstore . . . Booky Wook 2!

As incredible as it may seem, the honesty, the mayhem, the lascivious scandal of Russell Brand’s magnum opus, My Booky Wook, are surpassed by Booky Wook 2! This time it’s personal, as Brand unabashedly charts his rise from crack-house junkie to Hollywood star while indulging in sexual excesses that make Caligula seem like a prudish spinster—encountering thousands of women, often three or four at a time (for efficiency), on his quest to find true love. Here is the riveting story of what happens when insatiable desire meets limitless opportunity and a punk from the wrong side of the tracks is given the keys to the palace. Indeed, Brand’s riot of self-indulgence would be rampaging still were it not for a well-aimed bottle tossed to the head, delivered from the hand of the exquisite Katy Perry, one of the world’s biggest pop stars.

Can true love conquer all? Is it a force more powerful than the raging libido of an insatiable professional madman? The answer lies within . . . Booky Wook 2!

His name is Russell Brand, nough said.

The first time i heard of Brand, i saw his movie, Arthur. I LOVED the movie and found myself crying by the end. It really hit home when he got his 6 month chip from AA. I am also a recovering addict. Then i found out he had a book, bought it and never put it down till the end. Afterwsrds, i had to read the second book. Could not find it anwhere!! Now i'm half way done and i can't put this one down either. I look up to him and respect him for who he is. When times get tough for me, i pick up one of his movies and remind myself that if he can do it, so can i.

At first I didn't think I was gonna like it as much as the first book. But as I read more, the more I did like it. Mainly because the period he writes of in this book is when I knew who he was. I discovered him when he did Sarah Marshall.....so unllike the first book, I knew more of the projects he was talking about in this book.

    Good insight.

This book was hilarious and will definitely give you a vocabulary lesson. I felt it could have been more deeper and more expanded...by the end he barely went into his time with 'Get him to the Greek.' How he met his wife was really sweet though.
