Filled with intoxicating color photographs and an easy-to-read layout, it contains over 40 recipes with numerous variations for cakes of all kinds. The introduction contains an overview of spirits along with a chart that delineates how much alcohol remains in a cake after baking. Each recipe features a series of icons to identify at a glance the type of cake, number of servings, baking time, occasion, and "Booze Meter." Chapters feature recipes for classic booze cakes (Golden Rum Cake), original recipes based on cocktails (Harvey Wallbanger Cake), cake shots (Blue Hawaii Pineapple Upside-Down Cupcakes), and classic cakes spiked with alcohol. Meet the Author

Krystina Castella enjoys creating books and products that inspire play. She lives and works near Los Angeles as a writer, industrial designer, and professor at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena. The author of the popular books Crazy About Cupcakes and Pops! Icy Treats for Everyone, Krystina has also designed dozens of unique products ranging from housewares and clothing to furniture and toys. Terry Lee Stone is a graphic designer, educator, knitter, and design-trends writer who has authored several books on design; Booze Cakes is her first cookbook. Terry lives in the Studio City section of Los Angeles, in The Brady Bunch’s old neighborhood, with her husband and two pugs.

Have just got book and have used it to make one cake . It was a hit . Directions was easy , picture was great ( always nice to know what the cake should look like ). I look forward to trying more cakes
