It's an interesting read but since it's not a documentary and no

It's an interesting read but since it's not a documentary and no fact checking was done...it's an interesting work of fiction. They could have just as easily had Border Patrol Agents call in and tell stories of apprehensions, all without corrorboration. I really enjoyed how the author called this "the immigration experience". It isn't the "immigration experience", that would be the story of legal immigrants who struggled, toiled, saved and made the sacrifice of time and money to follow the laws and join the United States as a legally contributing member of society. This book details stories of illegal immigration, people who risk their lives, their family's and those of the Border Patrol to selfishly flaunt the laws of the U.S. for their personal gain. I know life is tough in Mexico but if the bravest and strongest keep leaving...how will it ever change? Want to show me bravery, courage, sacrifice? I'll go back to Mexico and see the people who stay and fight the poverty, fight the corruption and fights the cartels. Those are the people who we should honor...not those who take the easy way out. Just my opinion.
