This is a remarkable book by a remarkable man who went from a prominent political position as Special Counsel to President Nixon to prison. Before going to prison, he had a life-changing experience that transformed his priorities, values and thinking. He became sensitive to the struggles and hopelessness of prisoners with whom he can in contact, which led him to establish Prison Fellowship Ministries. It is the story of an arrogant man, humbled by incarceration that touched the lives of numerous prisoners, ex-prisoners and their families. The book is well-written and inspiring.
I am not one who reads books. This was given to me by a dear friend who wanted to pass along a message to me. It took me 2 months to start the book but i finished it in less then a week after starting it. Honestly, it was one of few books i read from beginning to end. You will find the book to enlighten you in several different aspects. You will also look foward to the next page and enjoy it as much as i did.
