Overview

She’s fire…he’s air. Together, their power is hot enough to melt steel.

Air Element, Erion, aches to feel the heat of Kenna's emerging fire. However, merging with her while she is on the cusp of transformation risks enslaving her forever. But when a male Fire Element hunts Kenna in order to harness her power, Erion must break his vow not to join with another Element. The only way to protect her is to merge his wind with her fire.

Aspiring glassblower Kenna Lang is on the rise. A chance meeting with Erion ignites an attraction hotter than her glass furnace. Drawn together in an erotic joining she can’t prevent, they become more than human, and Kenna is born into fire.

Now her world is going up in flames.

Neither are prepared for the emotions awakened by their union…or the immortal battle waged against their kind. When Kenna disappears, Erion seeks out those he knows are responsible—their race's sworn enemy, the shape-shifting dragons known as Drakaura.

    Interesting & Creative!

    Interesting & Creative!

What a creative world these two authors have created. The element world in this story was very interesting as the Drakaura (Watchtower Lords/Sentinel Dragon shifters) police its own kind - Judge, jury, and executioners; they enforced their own brand of justice on the Element champions. This wasn’t a fast paced story but it was so interesting learning about the element shifters and their world of existence and where they originated from. My rating is 3.5 stars but rounding to a 4 star rating.

The story grabs your interest immediately as the sexy Air Element “Erion” finds him uncontrollably attracted to Kenna a glass blower who was about to come into her change and become the element shifter Fire or rather “Fiera”. But Erion wasn’t the only element attracted to her as his competition “Hayden the fire element” not only wanted her sexually but he wanted to consume her fire by killing her to make himself stronger and more powerful.

The magical erotic scenes between the air element Erion and Kenna is extremely hot, one of the best sex scenes I have read as Erion rams Kenna from behind while she works to create a glass phallus. Once the phallus is made he then takes it and uses it to impale her channel fast and deep as he uses his talented mouth and tongue on her in all the sensitive places a woman loves. To top it off, add the elemental features of their powers to the act and then you have a mystical swirl of fire and air that heats the room up and sparks start flying as the mating ritual begins.

Even though I have given this a 3.5 to 4 star rating, the story has the making of a fantastic series to be written. The ending was a fair happy ending for me but it left a lot of other questions unanswered and left me wanting to know more about the elements world, Ghen the Void, the wizard Siusaidh, Ryalda or Shadows, and Drakauara. Now that I have been introduced to this elemental world I can hardly wait to read the next book to learn more about it.

    Good Read!

Born into Fire by KyAnn Waters and Tarah Scott is not part of a series but I sure would love to see more books about the characters seen in this book. It sparks my imagination. I have always loved reading about dragons.

Kenna is a glassblower who has been creating Dragons for here first show. She is a strong and witty character. She had no idea about Dragons, Elemonts, or her powers until Erion come into her life. Kenna is in grave danger because Aiden wants to enslave her. Kenna is a fire element which is understandable because of her career.

Erion is head over heels in love with Kenna. He is an air element, which commands the wind. While he has some issues about them merging elements he wants to protect her. But when Kenna needs him most he leaves her alone and confused.

The chemistry between Erion and Kenna is so hot they burn up the pages. They don’t even bother fighting the attraction. They go right after each other. The sex scenes were blistering hot. Erion and Kenna are made for each other and it’s easy to see that.

I would have loved if the book was longer than it was and more flushed out. The author seemed to rush at times through the story but that could be due to the two authors merging styles to tell this tale. Overall, this was a wonderful story. I hope to read more by these authors
