Meet the Author

Micheal Scott Raleigh. A Illinois native. Living in Illinois most his life except for a short couple years in neighboring Missouri. St. Louis, Hannibal, Ferguson, Lock and Dam 19 where he done road work and residential/commercial wiring. Electrician.
Staying in the construction industry for many years. Residential in the rural areas. Commercial construction in the bigger towns. Cement finisher, Electrician, plumbing, sewers, mason, finally moving on to Historical preservations in beautiful Quincy Illinois, Springfield Illinois. Galesburg Illinois. Then completing several homes that would be fit for even the most royal families of our society. None of which still have the original occupants living in them. Micheal turned to saving homes in condemned states. Seeking out families that were living in lesser places without money to pay for repairs. Making the building commissioners have nightmares. Jacking up three story houses that were over 150 years old, totally infested with termites, removing old limestone foundations, or trees used for beams, then setting them down nice and flat on new foundations, ending the condemned mode of the city officials. After which everyone turned out to be happy and satisfied.
Micheal saved many homes form utter destruction by city officials. Keeping in line to the Historic values of our past, and offering stable home foundations to families in need. Doing so in many of the towns through out our lovely down state Illinois counties. McDonough, Hancock, Brown, Scott, Pike, Warren, Henderson, Knox, Adams, Morgan, Tazewell, and many others. Micheal enjoyed many smiles, free meals, and lodging in trade of his works. Since the families usually had less income then they had expenses. Most living on welfare unfortunately. Some of these families having sold the homes for a substantial profit, crating a better life for themselves and their children. Making all the free labor worth it.
