Overview

Seven Keys to Joyful Living is a deeply inspirational, experiential guided tour into the essence of our own holiness and the sacredness and interconnectedness of all life. From the wisdom of mothers and mystics, shamans and scientists, neighbors and nature comes the great remembrance of the seven blessings freely given to all. This book holds a vision of the flowering of compassion and joy that is taking place right here on earth as we enter the new millennium. We are maturing spiritually as a species, and as that growth continues, our capacities to love unconditionally and to bring peace to earth, expand. Born to Be Blessed is our story--a story of hope for our own personal lives and for the earth as well.

What began as Judy’s personal spiritual journey ultimately became the discovery of a lifetime. In an effort to come to grips with her own depression, guilt, and dangerously low self-esteem, Judy began studying the lives of people who had somehow found true inner peace, regardless of their circumstances. In the midst of her search, she discovered that there were SEVEN very simple truths that were repeated again and again by these wise people. It was these SEVEN truths or keys that changed her life forever, and now she wants to share them with you.

About The Author:
Following two major tragedies in her life, involving the loss of her first child, and then her family, as she knew it, Judy McCoy Carman began an intense spiritual journey. This journey led her into a deep and powerful search for a way to find true and lasting peace of mind and heart. InBorn to Be Blessed, the author shares the secrets she discovered.
Judy received her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Texas Tech University in 1969. An experienced counselor, businesswoman, mother, and author, Judy is also actively involved in the peace and justice, environmental, and animal rights movements. In addition, Judy maintains the Circle of Compassion website. This website promotes the vision of our human species remembering our true nature as sacred beings of love and remembering that all the rest of creation is sacred as well. It is with this remembrance and this vision that we take a quantum leap in consciousness and choose the inner peace and planetary peace that we know is possible in the new millennium. The author lives in Lawrence, Kansas.

The forward to this book is written by Ann Nunley, M.F.A., author of Inner Counselor: An Intuitive Guide for Life’s Journey.
