    very entertaining indeed

Anyone who covers Linda Eder on Big Time had better have a big voice. Although she does not quite have Linda's power (WHO DOES?) she does have better diction. Not quite Liz Callaway on stage or Stacy Sullivan in a small club, I'd go a long way to see her perform anywhere, until then I just enjoy the CD. On a wing and a prayer is supurb. So is almost everything else, the kid inside, You can always count on me. etc. Voice reminds me of a younger Susahanna McCorkle.

    Born to Entertain

There are many reasons to appreciate the gift of hearing: someone telling you they love you, the sound of waves breaking on a rocky shore, wind before a storm, the laughter of a child...add listening to Lisa Richard to the list. To say she has a wonderful voice is as much of an understatement as is possible to make. ''Born to Entertain'' has joined the very select list of albums I'd demand if stranded on the proverbial desert island. Lisa's CD is not just entertainment, it's a necessity!

    Born to Entertain

Hearing is a precious gift, and some sounds are magic: someone saying they love you, the laughter of a child, waves on a beach late at night, the wind kissing leaves...add to that list the voice of Lisa Richard. With both fantastic power and subtle style, Lisa simply makes you feel glad to be alive at a time when we can share the gift of her voice. My only problem is that this is her debut, so I'll just have to wait for her next offering.
