When Nick wants to go on an adventure and Sally wants to go swimming, the Cat in the Hat knows where they can do both—alongside Salmon Sam on her incredible journey up the Swirly Whirly River! Shrunk to the size of salmon and swimming in scuba gear, the Cat and kids join Sam as she swims against the current, jumps up waterfalls, and avoids being eaten by a grizzly bear in her quest to return to the pool of water where she was born to lay her eggs. My 2 year old loves the "The Cat In The Hat Knows a Lot About That" cartoon. I was glad to find the stories in book form for younger kids. Little Golden Books are perfect for his age. He loves the characters and the way the story rhymes. The illustrations are colorful. My only issue with the book is that it was a little damaged when I received it. It's scratched on the spine like it was handled roughly. The pages inside are fine so its not enough to return it over in my opinion, but it'd be nice to receive an item in perfect condition considering it's brand new.
