    Very hard to put down!

When Thom tries to find his missing father with his best friend and Hilly, he knew he was preparing for the dangerous life of a spy. What he didn't know was that the serious, real-life danger would start the moment they are facing an organization involved in art theft. Now danger follows them everywhere and Thom no longer knows if he can trust anyone. In this story, the trio must spy, steal, hack and lie their way to the truth and as they go searching for answers, they find out more than they wanted to. This was a great read. Very hard to put down. Worth the cheap price.

    You can't go wrong

As with all JS books, there are unexpected twists and turns, chills and spills, secrets revealed and enough action to keep those pages turning. Very funny, very suspenseful and very smart- the perfect summer read.

    Funny

A trio consisting of Thom, his best friend Danny and his sister Hilly are flying to Ireland to try to solve a mystery and find Thom's missing father. it's a good read that allows you to figure out parts but it's still able to catch you off guard. I loved 15 year old Hilly best because her funny remarks and wannabe posh character are quite refreshing and Thom, who takes on his father's identity as spy, is like Malcom ( from the series Malcolm in the middle), who enjoys being smart. It's a funny and entertaining read and I hope there will be another book.

    I Also Recommend:

Highly Recomended - you must check it out!

I was looking for a good book for boys and found this great adventure novel about a twelve-year-old boy called Thom. He's the son of a secret agent and when his father doesn't come home for a few days, Thom becomes suspicious and breaks into his father's office. When he finds his dad's mobile phone, he realises something bad must have happened to him, after all, he's a secret agent and would never go anywhere without it. Plus he wouldn't leave Thom at home alone without contact. Thom, his best friend, and his friend's teenage sister catch a plane to Ireland in search of clues. How they manage this is hilarious, and the dialogue is fantastic. The author has captured the voice of young adults in a witty and funny way, and with all the disgusting things that kids love. Through the plots, the kids insult each other and squabble, but are always there for each other when they're needed. On their travels, the kids come up with a way to buy whatever they need, which adds more humour to the story. While hunting for the missing secret agent, they turn themselves into little agents in a funny and believable way. They meet dangerous villains and colourful characters as they get into more and more danger and mischief. The antics of these kids will have the reader on the edge of their seats, keeping them turning the page to see what happens next. Hilly, the teenage girl, is absolutely hilarious. I love the way the author has made her real. While Thom and his friend are searching for Thom's father, Hilly, a klutz of a girl with attitude, who now has access to money and travel, does what any teenage girl would. This annoys the boys and they think she's a big pain in the but. I don't want to give the plots away, so I'll just say that this story will keep the reader entertained right to the exciting end. I highly recommend it for boys and girls of all ages. It's a great read even for adults and I hope the author will write a sequel. I'll sure be looking out for one.

    Just hilarious

When Thom's dad disappears, leaving behind a cell phone and no trail, Thom knows something's up. So he breaks into the basement and finds a spy center with all the high-tech equipment. Together with his friends, Danny, and Danny's teenage sister, Hilly, they find clue after clue, leading them to Ireland and a crooked art thief.
My kids loved this story and wouldn't put it down. Even I couldn't stop laughing at the kids' banter and their wit. Particularly the girl, Hilly, is a fantastic voice. I'll be looking out for more from this author.
I'd recommend it for 10- to 13-year-old boys and girls.

    Great Thriller

I have never felt so attached to characters in an novel. I even found myself dreaming of them (it is ok to laugh at me I did too). For the first time ever I even went to the author's website and read everything about her. Great Book with lots of funny chapters!

    Great story

Really liked the story because it kept me guessing. Reminded me a bit of James Bond but for kids. Loved the ending.

    So funny

Got it for my kids and they enjoyed it just as much as I did. I had to explain a few words to them since the youngest is ten and the language was more advanced but, all in all, it didn't deter from an enjoyable reading experience. We all loved Hilly best!
