I only had one major complaint about this book. It really doesn't have enough words that are in common usage. Still for the price it is a good place to start building vocabulary if there is a sudden reason you have to learn Bosnian. My sudden reason was becoming friends with a Bosnian person who was new to town. I help him with his English, he is taking ESL but the ESL here is so geared to Hispanic people that other language groups have trouble getting adequate help with our grammar and spelling. I did find it a very great help on both my trips to Bosnia as the size is handy. This would be a point in it's favor for people who must travel light. It would have been helpful to include Cyrillic because both Latin and Cyrillic letters are used in Bosnia and are legal. I haven't had a problem particularly because of it because most of my time was spent in Sarajevo and I went to Croatia but someone who needed to be in heavily Serbian regions might really need that help as roadside signs and buisness signs in Republika Srpska tend to be in Cyrillic. I have out grown this dictionary and it is pretty well thumbed and worn out but it got me started at a reasonable price. On several occaisions it was really and truly helpful. Was this review helpful?
