Excellent debut book simmering and sensual!

If you like reading ¿boardroom¿ stories with happy endings then this is the book for you. The Boss's Demand is a simmering and at times, painful love story which will take you on a steamy and sensual journey. The book begins on a sour note as Elan Al Mansur is telling his Human Resource Director that she must fire his newly hired personal assistant. And why one might ask? Because she is young, attractive and he only wants an older PA because the young women he has employed in the past are after him and his millions. Sara Daly has a lot to prove to herself and her family. She has taken the responsibility to pay off the hospital debt her mother¿s illness strapped her family with and she¿s determined to become a success in the oil industry. She has worked long a hard to get her degree in business and geology and no stubborn boss is going to take that away from her let alone fire her on her first day of the job. You will witness this stubborn woman proving herself not only to her boss, but to the entire company. However, she is strongly attracted to Elan and one evening she succumbs to his charm and charisma and becomes intimate with him. They both realize the mistake and try to get back to business on a professional level. Sara pushes herself to ¿painful¿ lengths to prove she is worthy and a professional in the industry. What Sara is not aware of in the beginning is that Elan needs no one due to his past life with his family. At a young age he is cruelly removed from his family by a heartless and cruel father. What Elan does not like are his feelings of protectiveness and lust for Sara. Jennifer's characters are both strong in similar yet different ways. The Boss¿s Demand was a very enjoyable read and yet sad at times as Elan was an extremely lonely man and it took Sara¿s gentleness to heal him because she saw the man himself, not the man of wealth and power.

    Great Debut!

The Boss's Demand is an absorbing debut by Jennifer Lewis. Written under the Silhouette Desire line with Harlequin in print and ebook, the author brings a powerful oil tycoon, Elan Al Mansur, to his knees as he unable to resist falling for his new assistant, Sara Daly. When Elan notices his new assistant is not an mature worker, that is older woman, he wants to fire her so that he doesn't have another worker distracting him with her charms and looks. Regardless of feeling the attractiveness between them, Sara agreed that she would prove to him that she could keep her work on the business. It doesn't take long until they fall for each other in a time of intense weakness that leave Sara pregnant and dealing with how to inform her boss she's pregnant with his child after the deal they made with each other to forget the encounter ever occurred. As Elan wants to do the right thing to take care of Sara and the baby, Sara is resistant to marrying for the baby's sake with her having experienced this in her upbringing with her parents. Knowing that marrying for the sake of what should be done rather than love, Sara continues to resist Elan's plans to marry her. As Elan pushes for the marriage and circumstances bring them together again, Sara feelings are overwhelmed in a vicious circle of furthering her love for Elan but refusing to let the past happen to her as well. Elan too having to deal with a difficult childhood, holds back in revealing his true feelings in words for Sara as he attempts to show her in showering, protecting, and overtaking the situation. Jennifer Lewis has a stellar romance story with The Boss's Demand. The author pulls out both of the characters traits and personality throughout the story as well as their growth in their relationship and feelings. The reader will definitely fall for Elan too and his special way of calling her "my Sara" that shows his strong devotion and love to Sara. Too, bringing out Sara's strengths to stand for herself, her feelings and needs, brings forth a heroine that the reader would feel unity with Sara as well as looking up to her for her vitality. Being unable to resist more and more of their story as it unfolds, the reader will have a one sitting read that brings hope for more stories of Elan's brothers and Sara's brother and sister's story in future reads from author Jennifer Lewis. The Boss's Demand is a striking sensual romance story that is exceptionally written as Jennifer Lewis's debut story that will be long memorable.
