....this book is just a great read. You don't need to be a fire buff to stay caught right up in the action. This chronological history traces the efforts of firefighting lore in the Boston area. The high spot of the tale is the Cocoanut Grove fire in a downtown nightclub in Nov, 1942. There is nothing rough or boring about this book.
