This is a cool novel.  There's a mute clown in it, for god's sake, who walks around and communicates with a notebook and crayon.  It's stylistically like Vonnegut meets Hemingway and runs into Tom Robbins.  It's one funny novel and the short chapters are engaging.  You can't stop reading it.
