Meet the Author

I live near the Gulf Coast of Texas with my amazing, new, hero-esque husband of one year, who inspires me more than he knows. We share a home with his bingo lovin' mama and I'm reluctantly becoming more and more charmed by his roley-poley, cantankerous chihuahua.

In the beginning, I got started writing sexy, steamy short stories on a whim - just to see if I could do it. Then, as I realized that my imagination was expansive but my technique was on the short side, I started researching and honing my skills.

Caught within the agonizing process of letting go to take the next step, I'm frantically 'building a platform' and putting myself out there. I've got a ways to go, but I love every minute of the journey!

    Looking for great reading? Two words: Summer Ellis!

    A short read, but raw and hot! By the third paragraph I was in a froth, not knowing whether the main character was going to hold out or pounce on a bookstore employee.

    In this first effort, Summer did a great job of bringing depth and emotion to her main character. This is a story you can read more than once and still find it entertaining.

    This short story showcases Summer's style and I can't wait to read her first novel, "Under Construction."

    It's short, but not sweet! So freak'n sexy, I only wish I hadn't read it on the way to the airport... No privacy, if ya know what I mean.

    I got confused when the girl entered the book store in the begin

    I got confused when the girl entered the book store in the beginning with khaki pants but ended up with her skirt flipped above her hips behind a bookshelf. Didn't make sense. The author should have said she wore a skirt to the bookstore if he wanted the flipping of the skirt to take place.

    Craptastic.

    The story stops before it gets interesting (it never gets good), and you are redirected to a website for more. It is a waste of space.
