But readers expecting the usual titillating tidbits should look elsewhere. The anecdotes that Roderick, also a businesswoman, wife, and mother, shares about her life might dip a toe into the tricks of the trade (there's a chapter entitled "T&A Won't Get You Ahead"), but they ultimately remain firmly rooted in practicality: save your money, invest, work hard, and never stop learning. Even Roderick's take on finding Mr. Right is less sexy than self-help.     Keep this by your bed!

    This book is a book you give as a gift to all the women in your life as well as keeping one for yourself. It's about a womans dream and how she got there. It's helpful to young women and their goals in life. It has examples and short stories of her own struggles and triumphs along the way. There are behind the scene stories of some of the shows and people she worked with. But most of all, this book is something you will constantly keep close so that you can open it now and then and refer back to it when you are struggling to reach your goal, you will know there is a possibility you will reach it soon. It will give you hope and teach you as well. Enjoyed it thoroughly, Can't wait for another one Brande.
