More About This Book

Overview

On any given day in the United States there are twenty to fifty active, unknown serial killers. Eighty-five percent of the entire world's serial killers are in the United States. It is believed that these serial killers change their target and method of killing constantly, possibly to prevent their murders from being linked together.

Detective Tim Barnes and Dave Mitchell are investigating a horrific murder in a small city in Montana. An entire family is dismembered, their body parts hanging in their barn, their eyes cut out.

Emma is a first-time novelist, her first book is about a family's murder that is all too similar. Her book draws the two detectives to California, and to her. While one detective wonders if Emma could be involved in the crimes, the other is falling for her. Who else did they unknowingly bring with them?

An investigation follows that takes you from the frozen, snow covered grounds of Montana to the warm beaches of California. In a race to catch the mother of all serial killers.

This book is detailed and engrossing. It has a love story wound

This book is detailed and engrossing. It has a love story wound into a crime story with mystery, intrigue and what feels like real life drama. It is set in Montana and the San Francisco Peninsula. Descriptions range from graphic to lush and you see the action in your head. It was hard to put down but at times I had to just to absorb what was happening!
