Great book !!! I loves this book and the concept...For those of you who like a clean book to read this is it. I love the way the main character was someone we we all can relate to and someone we would love the hang with! I can't wait to see what this author has planned for her next book in this series!

Funny, Swoony, Frustrating & Suspensey I was gifted a copy of this book by the author for an honest review. For me this book has it all. It had me laughing, it had me swooning, it had me frustrated & it had me on the edge of my seat. Dr. Samantha Moore is a young American woman who has spent her adult years studying Hematology to become the youngest research scientist in the world. Due to spending her formative adult years studying and in the Lab, her ‘people skills’ have not developed. Samantha is given the opportunity of a lifetime when she accepts a position with the Gunnach Pharmaceuticals. Samantha has never left her Georgia and is now moving a continent away. Dr. Kade Gunnach is the head man at Gunnach Pharmaceuticals and is looking for a cure for his sisters issues. He is hiring Samantha in an attempt to do what he and his team have not been able to do. Kade wants nothing to do with Samantha and has palmed her off to other to deal with even before she has arrived. That is until he meets her. I love the relationship between Kade and Samantha. Think along the lines of ‘Me Tazan, you Jane’, you know ‘Me Alpha, you Mate, roar’ HA! He’s over bearing, she takes no ……. Well you can imagine. The other characters in the book are well developed and although this story is about Kade and Samantha, everyone is well incorporated and prevents the book from becoming repetitive or full of whiny drivel. An excellent read, well worth the 5 stars. N.B: This book is not an Erotic romance.

A Great Start! This is a wonderful book. I just finished reading and enjoying it for the second time. Loved how the beginning started in the US,, and then traveled to Scotland. It was fun watching the characters evolve within their relationships as time went on. Each page that I read was enjoyed.  Really Recommend Reading a book that is enjoyed from start to finish.

I love all of Tracey's books. I found the Civil War Brides series by just looking around at the free books and I was completely hooked on that series. I was so excited when I saw that she started a new series. It is equally as great as her first series. I love all the "binding" and the magic of the story. Tracey is a clever writer and does not disappoint. I highly recommend all of her books.

Read the reviews. It was a free read. And was a total surprise. Enjoyed the story line..the idea of this story. seemed rushed at parts...and other parts in the story seemed like an after thought and just thrown in. Want to read second story...see where that goes. Enjoyed all the characters.

Even the interesting world was not enough to save this pedantic tale. The characters are flat, the plot has no suspense, and the world building consists entirely of random icelandic phrases sprinkled throughout otherwise bland, immature writing. To add insult to injury, the author obviously knows nothing about science or medicine rendering the heroine completely unbelievable. This book was not even worth what I paid for it (it was free). I only finished the story in the hope that the good idea it started as would finally yeild fruit. Unfortunately that did not happen, but at least I can write a complete review.

I really enjoyed reading Bound by Blood, there's action, fantasy and love all wrapped up in one story. I have to warn people on the next book though! Book two is very close to being a carbon copy of book one, I read all of book two and enjoyed a lot of it, but seriously quite a bit was copy and paste that, I found myself scimmimg. Most of the expieriences that Brody and Pepper go through are similar if not exactly like Kade and Samantha. I love the idea of long series but I think I'll stop here... enough is enough!

Love this book! Was pulled in immediately with a wonderful cast of characters. Original plot line. With the paranormal twist that was completely original and the romance that was quirky and fun, this is going to be a hit series!

This is a great book all by itself and a fantastic start to a soul stirring series. I hope the series continues until all the questions are answered because the possibilities are endless.

Overall Rating:  4.5 Rockin Stars They are the Cauld Ane, the cold ones, the ancient ones, hidden, while moving through the centuries undetected and coexisting with humankind.  Bound by Blood is the first book in the Cauld Ane series by an exceptionally creative author, Tracey Jane Jackson.  This first book gives the background needed to understand the characters and storyline for this series.  Ms. Jackson has woven a tale of a paranormal world that is so well crafted that it seems real, possible.  Kade Gunnach is the leader of this race and has finally found his Forever Mate, Samantha Moore. Sam has been sheltered all her life. She recently completed her doctoral work with a specialty in blood.  A large pharmaceutical company has offered her a job in Scotland where she can put her degree to use.  This is a huge step for her, so she decides that it is time to leave the nest and spread her wings.  What she had not expected was the feelings that she was flooded with and the voice she hears in her mind.  When she is introduced to her new boss, an attraction flows between them that is frightening in its intensity.   An attraction that cannot be denied by either of them! Is this her Prince Charming, the man she has waited for? Why does it seem so right to be with him? How do you tell a human woman that she is your forever mate and you are a near-immortal Viking that has lived for almost two thousand years? How do you explain that you have been waiting for her to be born without her running away?  If you do convince her, how can you keep her safe until she is bound?   Read this remarkable series and learn more about the Cauld Ane and their search for their forever mates. Hero: Dr. Kade Gunnach 4.5 stars  Heroine: Dr. Samantha Moore 4.5 stars  Steam: 4.5 stars  Plot: 4.5 stars  Cliffhanger: No

I have read all the books in this series and absolutely love them. This is the first of a paranormal romance series. Kade did not expect to fall in love when he hired Samatha to work for him but at the first sight of her he knew she was the one. When Sam finds out some strange things about Kade and his family she is not sure she wants to stay, but the attraction is too much for even this Southern girl. There is no explicit sex which makes it easy to read. Once you have read this one you will not be able to stay away from the rest in this series. Tracey Jane Jackson's books are an easy read with some comedic moments.

Bound by Blood is the first in a series that entice you to want to read the other books. This book ends by giving you a taste of what the next book will be about. If you enjoy reading books where you are able to come to care about the characters and want to know what happens next, this is a great series to read. Samantha is a research scientist that specializes in blood disorders. Kade's sister is sick and he is using all his resources to help find a cure enter Samantha. This story has a mystery that has depth.

4.5/5 I loved this book! I saw that it was free and read the blurb and decided to give it a chance, and I am so glad I did. It was a unique twist on your typical love story. The characters were amusing, the story line intriguing, and the backstory was good. There could’ve been more buildup to the backstory and in the suspense, but honestly the book was fantastic without it. It kept me turning the pages from beginning to end. I laughed (a lot), cried, and yelled at my kindle throughout the book.  Samantha is a shy, quiet, and typically reserved person. That is until she meets Kade. She is instantly at ease with him and feels like she can be herself. The girl only her family and best friend Pepper have ever seen.  Kade is an outgoing, in charge, and do what I say kind of person. Until he meets Samantha and he will do anything to keep her happy and safe. His family teases him about his new obsession, until they get to know her. This was the first paranormal I have read in a while and I was not disappointed at all! The love scenes were the closed door kind, hot enough to peak your interest but it stopped at the door. I don’t mind closed door scenes, but Tracey wrote the scenes so well she could’ve followed through with more description and it would’ve been even better. The secondary characters were so well written that I HAVE to know their stories now. I enjoyed this so much I have already bought the rest of the series. Plus who can resist hot Scottish men with a secret? Surely not this girl.
