Meet the Author

I was born and raised in New Zealand, and that’s where my love of horses was born. My grandfather taught me to ride at four years old, and I couldn’t get enough. My love and passion for Abraham Lincoln and the entire Civil War era might have come from my American father, however, he lays no claim to influencing me. My mother used to tell me I was simply born in the wrong place in the wrong time.I haven’t always wanted to write. It took me a long time to get started, but now I don’t seem to be able to stop, the joy of escaping to the 1860s is too much fun.I’ve been happily married and gooey in love with my husband for eighteen years. Funny, Swoony, Frustrating & Suspensey

Funny, Swoony, Frustrating & Suspensey I was gifted a copy of this book by the author for an honest review.
For me this book has it all. It had me laughing, it had me swooning, it had me frustrated & it had me on the edge of my seat.
Dr. Samantha Moore is a young American woman who has spent her adult years studying Hematology to become the youngest research scientist in the world. Due to spending her formative adult years studying and in the Lab, her ‘people skills’ have not developed.
Samantha is given the opportunity of a lifetime when she accepts a position with the Gunnach Pharmaceuticals. Samantha has never left her Georgia and is now moving a continent away.
Dr. Kade Gunnach is the head man at Gunnach Pharmaceuticals and is looking for a cure for his sisters issues. He is hiring Samantha in an attempt to do what he and his team have not been able to do. Kade wants nothing to do with Samantha and has palmed her off to other to deal with even before she has arrived. That is until he meets her.
I love the relationship between Kade and Samantha. Think along the lines of ‘Me Tazan, you Jane’, you know ‘Me Alpha, you Mate, roar’ HA! He’s over bearing, she takes no ……. Well you can imagine.
The other characters in the book are well developed and although this story is about Kade and Samantha, everyone is well incorporated and prevents the book from becoming repetitive or full of whiny drivel.
An excellent read, well worth the 5 stars.
N.B: This book is not an Erotic romance.

I loves this book and the concept...For those of you who like a clean book to read this is it. I love the way the main character was someone we
we all can relate to and someone we would love the hang with! I can't wait to see what this author has planned for her next book in this series!

I love all of Tracey's books. I found the Civil War Brides series by just looking around at the free books and I was completely hooked on that series. I was so excited when I saw that she started a new series. It is equally as great as her first series. I love all the "binding" and the magic of the story. Tracey is a clever writer and does not disappoint. I highly recommend all of her books.

A Great Start! This is a wonderful book. I just finished reading and enjoying it for the second time. Loved how the beginning started in the US,, and then traveled to Scotland. It was fun watching the characters evolve within their relationships as time went on. Each page that I read was enjoyed.

Really Recommend Reading a book that is enjoyed from start to finish.

    Terrible

Even the interesting world was not enough to save this pedantic tale. The characters are flat, the plot has no suspense, and the world building consists entirely of random icelandic phrases sprinkled throughout otherwise bland, immature writing. To add insult to injury, the author obviously knows nothing about science or medicine rendering the heroine completely unbelievable. This book was not even worth what I paid for it (it was free). I only finished the story in the hope that the good idea it started as would finally yeild fruit. Unfortunately that did not happen, but at least I can write a complete review.

    Fascinating and Original

Love this book! Was pulled in immediately with a wonderful cast of characters. Original plot line. With the paranormal twist that was completely original and the romance that was quirky and fun, this is going to be a hit series!

    Good Read

I really enjoyed reading Bound by Blood, there's action, fantasy and love all wrapped up in one story.
I have to warn people on the next book though!
Book two is very close to being a carbon copy of book one,
I read all of book two and enjoyed a lot of it, but seriously quite a bit was copy and paste that, I found myself scimmimg. Most of the expieriences that Brody and Pepper go through are similar if not exactly like Kade and Samantha. I love the idea of long series but I think I'll stop here... enough is enough!

    A surprise...

Read the reviews. It was a free read. And was a total surprise. Enjoyed the story line..the idea of this story. However...it seemed rushed at parts...and other parts in the story seemed like an after thought and just thrown in. Want to read second story...see where that goes. Enjoyed all the characters.

    4.5/5
I loved this book! I saw that it was free and read the blurb and decided to give it a chance, and I am so glad I did. It was a unique twist on your typical love story. The characters were amusing, the story line intriguing, and the backstory was good. There could’ve been more buildup to the backstory and in the suspense, but honestly the book was fantastic without it. It kept me turning the pages from beginning to end. I laughed (a lot), cried, and yelled at my kindle throughout the book.
Samantha is a shy, quiet, and typically reserved person. That is until she meets Kade. She is instantly at ease with him and feels like she can be herself. The girl only her family and best friend Pepper have ever seen.
Kade is an outgoing, in charge, and do what I say kind of person. Until he meets Samantha and he will do anything to keep her happy and safe. His family teases him about his new obsession, until they get to know her.
This was the first paranormal I have read in a while and I was not disappointed at all! The love scenes were the closed door kind, hot enough to peak your interest but it stopped at the door. I don’t mind closed door scenes, but Tracey wrote the scenes so well she could’ve followed through with more description and it would’ve been even better.
The secondary characters were so well written that I HAVE to know their stories now. I enjoyed this so much I have already bought the rest of the series. Plus who can resist hot Scottish men with a secret? Surely not this girl.

Last 40 pages were thr best by far

Everything was pretty much droning until the last 40 pages, all the rest was was basicly much Sam & Kade bantering, kissing, and having sex. It was pretty boring. This is the kind of book you read because you're crazy bored and can't find anything better.
