    Amazing and Thrilling Book

This book was absolutely breathtaking. The romance and adventure drew me into the book instantly and I was always very reluctant to put it down. I was willing to lose much needed sleep just to continue reading it into the night. This book is well written, has a great story line, and a perfect mix of multiple genre's along with characters you begin to care about or thoroughly loath. In short, this book is amazing, the author is amazing, and everyone should definitely read it! I'm going to purchase 'The Wind and the Sea' next!

I recommend this book. It is fast-paced and kept my interest throughout. It was a quick read even at 936 pages. A great read. I am looking forward to reading more from this author.

    HIghly Recommend

This isn't your fluffy romance. I am in complete aggreement with all the good things written by others. I learned much about that time in history. I just couldn't tell in advance how things were going to turn out in the end. I have added this author to my list of favorites and purchased two more of her novels after finishing this one.

    Great read!

This was my first time reading a book by this author and i loved it. The beginning of the story on snake island was in depth and got my interest at once and never lost it. The story was romatic and very well developed. I loved the ending but would have liked more info about their future. The book was over 1200 pages but very well written.

Horribly written! I thought it was a self-published novel from the writing. The grammar is horrible, the author changes point of view so often I thought the woman was admiring her own breasts. The hero is supposed to believe she's the governess yet refers to her brother as "her brother." Bad, bad editing. Then there's the almost rape scenes. I don't care how historically accurate you want to be, I don't want to read a book where the woman gets turned on by being raped. No thank you. I'm glad this was a freebie for the Nook because I'm sorry I wasted any time on it.

I didn't finish it. I couldn't. I tried a couple nights of it but no thank you!

    Great read, Fantastic deal!

This was a great read, far more than your typical romance. This is well-written with an interesting, fun plot. There is great romance, sweeping adventure, and a curious bit of mystery tucked inside these virtual pages.

    Not bad

Good swashbuckling romance, but one little editing issue...references by several different characters as to Michael being Summer's brother when that fact was still unknown. Seems that should have been caught...
