This story is dedicated to those who love as if there may be no tomorrow.
Two strangers, one apocalyptic windstorm. The desert town of Ram's Gulch is being buried alive.
Author Simone Noelle's first erotic romance novella in the Forces Of Nature Series.
Freshly divorced Julia Messier needs to get to Los Angeles by Christmas. Travis Brinks needs to finish the cattle round up before sundown. Her broken down car on the side of the rode outside the Arizona town of Ram's Gulch spells trouble for both of them.
A headstrong city girl. He's been burned by one of those before. Against his better judgement, Travis offers her an overnight stay at his home until her car is fixed. It's the gentleman like thing to do.
Why did she have to break down in the one town without any available lodging? It's just one night. And the locals vouch for the cowboy. A cowboy. She's never seen a real cowboy before.
As a windstorm of epic proportion descends upon the desert the two strangers become bound by the wind. Sealed in Travis' home, they fight their fears - of the storm, of their pasts and of their desire for each other.
This is a 22,000 word novella. Contains explicit sensual love scenes.
When I purchase a Simone Noelle book, I expect a certain level of heat in her story. Bound by the Wind is another hit. Her dialogue is witty - more than once I chuckled out loud and the romance is believable and HOT. Often when I checkout disaster stories, I'm disappointed in the contrived plot, but I didn't find that to be the case with Bound. Like her other stories, I enjoyed this stand alone very much. It's a great, quick read.
