Hailed by Stacey Kennedy as “an emotional, seductive story,” this deeply sensual novel of pleasure and persuasion revolves around a high-stakes business deal in which the rules of negotiation are defined by desire.
Through grace, talent, and hard work, personal concierge Sophie Ashton has turned international corporate warfare into an art. But when she meets her new client, a suave CEO who radiates masculine heat, she knows this is no ordinary job. With a past hurt fresh in her heart, Sophie tries to keep her professional relationships exactly that: professional. But Xavier Quinn is a man who knows how to get what he wants, and soon Sophie is tempted into his wicked dance of seduction.
Xavier needs Sophie’s charm and finesse to land a coveted contract with a Japanese tech mogul, yet he’s even more intrigued by her as a woman. He sees Sophie’s darkly sensual nature and can sense her passion. He wants to dominate her, more than he’s ever wanted anything before. He’ll make her submit, though he can’t give her his heart, not after the tragic death of his last sub. Xavier assures himself he can keep his distance from Sophie . . . but can he? He’s used to taking risks in work and in life, but the stakes have never been higher. Because the game he plays with Sophie will bind them together—or destroy them both.

In Madison's (Cursed) sweet, sexy, and seductive first At Your Service contemporary romance, a couple uses negotiation skills to grapple with their desires while shredding their emotional scars. Xavier Quinn, a debonair workaholic businessman, needs the expertise of Sophie Ashton, a Boston-based high-class concierge, to secure a business contract. Their first meeting includes a bewildering sexual attraction. Once their mutual fondness for kinky sex becomes clear, the seduction negotiation frolic begins. Volatile emotions are revealed through Xavier and Sophie's alternating narration, which let them explain their hesitations and concerns as their erotic encounters become more irresistible. Unexpected heartfelt moments have the two of them wondering about a future together when personal obligations take priority. Vivacious secondary characters enhance the tale, guaranteeing that readers will want to follow the series. The BDSM aspects are on the light side, but this deeply personal love story still has plenty of appeal thanks to sexual tension, second chances, and a marvelous central couple. Agent: Jim McCarthy, Dystel & Goderich. (May)

A concierge and a billionaire get together & the sparks start to fly. As their 2 weeks together unfold, Sophie proves she's competent, connected and quite a catch for Xavier both professionally and personally. With both of their past baggage, they find a way to connect through their mutual kink, and find a way to get over the past and step into the present. Interesting and steamy, this one will fill your tank and have you asking for more. *I received an arc from NetGalley for an honest review

This is the beginning of what seems to be a very intriguing series. The concierge lifestyle never seemed so fascinating! Catering to the whims of the wealthy is challenging at times but rewarding...at least for Sophie. I really liked the characters, they didn't come off as stuffy or over the top. Even with super wealthy characters they were still very human, very normal and very likable. I can't wait to read more in this series. The ladies that it seems to be wrapped around are very interesting and diverse.

This is the first book in a new series, and I am definitely interested in reading more about Sophie's friends. With her job, Sophie is used to dealing with rich people who are used to getting their own way. Xavier is one of those rich people. Once he discovers how well Sophie does her job and her expertise with the Japanese culture he wants her exclusively to help land an important contract and in the bedroom. Sophie normally does not mix business with pleasure but she is unable to resist for long. Both Sophie and Xavier want a similar type of relationship and have been hurt deeply in the past by their significant others. They are able to eventually to get there not with out some angst and compromise. Looking forward to the next in this series

Thoughly enjoyed this quick paced read that was steamy and entertaining. Amazing character development in Sophie and Xavier as well as a very engaging story. Written in dual POV which I love. The story captured my attention and held it though out this story. Finding love again, Sophie has been slow to let her walls down after having her ex-boyfriend leave her because his family would not approve of her since she was American and he was Japanese. But sparks fly between Sophie and Xavier and there are some sexy scenes that are delicious. Looking forward to the next in this series. Hoping for an update of Sophie and Xavier. If you are looking for a fast paced entertaining story with some delicious heat this is the story for you. Received a complimentary copy through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Well, I have decided not to be a personal concierge after reading this book. The job seems very complex and you have to babysit too many personalities. That being said I think the author did a superb job of showing Sophie as a strong business women who was extremely efficient at her job. I also felt that the author showed Sophie's weakness from her past relationship as a strength which is hard to do in a believable manner. Xavier's depth of feeling for his past love and his strong display of getting the job done for his businesses comes across in a manner that is professional without being unbendable. So yes I really liked his character and I did like the interaction between him and Sophie. For me the weakness to the story was Sophie's childhood friends. I would of liked a little more meat to their characters and not so much hecticness to their parts in the story. I felt like there where things left out that would of enriched them and rounded out the story a little better. This is still a good read and I did enjoy the story. Especially the ending. I give this 3 STARS. An copy was gifted in exchange for an honest opinion via Netgalley.

This was my first read from Shawntelle Madison, and it was a pretty good one. Xavier and Sophie were both great characters. There were some unique aspects thrown into the plot, which made for a refreshing read. The plot intrigued me with the various intricacies of the culture intertwined, Sophie’s job, and who exactly Xavier would turn out to be. I had been hoping for a bit more BDSM – this definitely treads on the light side. I’m intrigued to see who will be next as this is the first in a series – I’m definitely hoping for a Lana story and think that Penny’s story would be a hoot and a holler (you’ll see why after you read)

If you're looking for a quick read that is that is spicy and highly entertaining then this is going to be one that you want to check out. This is the first book I've read by this author and I thoroughly enjoyed the story. She gives is a book you can really sink your teeth into. A delicious leading man and an intriguing female lead come together for a memorable story with plenty of heat and sexy scenes that you will devour. While this is a quick read for the most part, you get a whole lot of meat in it as well. Plenty of character development and a compelling story to boot. I liked the interesting twists the author came up with but there was some familiar structure to the book too. With this being the first in the series, I'm looking forward to the next releases yet to come on some of the characters that we met in this book. Some fun times along with a engaging story makes this one to pickup. Copy received for review purposes

I was given a gifted copy by NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. Sophie Ahston is a personal concierge and she is really good at it. She knows how to pull strings to get what her clients demand. Xavier Quinn is the CEO of a mobile phone engineering company. His company needs to get a contract from a Japanese company to be able to create a prototype based on their ideas. The problem is that he has been turned down several times by the Japanese leader. However, Xavier’s motto is never to take no for an answer and that is why he hires Sophia, but when Sophia set her eyes on him, she knows he is not an ordinary client. A story I enjoyed and love from the very first page. I like when the story is told from each character’s point of view. It’s good to know about the feelings of both characters. Anticipation is very powerful and enhances the desire in a relationship a lot. The author is great creating tension from anticipation which enhances the intrigue of the reader about what is going to happen next.

I enjoyed this book even though it is more a contemporary than what the blurb promised. Sophie is an elite personal concierge in Boston who is hired by Xavier Quinn while he is in town on business. He has very exacting rules especially that he will be her only client during the duration of his visit and so she has to turn over her other clients to her assistant. There are definite sparks at the first meeting and those sparks turn to smoldering and continue to simmer until they nearly explode. Boundaries are set but crossed and all bets are off. From quirky roommates to diva clients, this was a treat. I am looking forward to more in this series. **Received this book from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review**

Sophie is a personal concierge and good at her job, when she meets her new client Xavier, a sexy CEO who needs Sophie’s talent to help him win a contract. Sophie may like to keep things strictly professional with her clients but Xavier isn’t going to make it easy. This is a fast paced steamy novel. The characters have great chemistry and the story really drew me in. Loved it!

Title: Bound to You Author: Shawntelle Madison Genre: Romance Format: Ebook Pages: 231 Rating: 4 Setting: Boston Main Characters: Sophie, Xavier Supporting Characters: Penny, Lana, Griffin, Jesse, Carlie Summary: Sophie has worked hard to become the best concierge, always being the professional. That is until Xavier walks into her world. The billionaire tech mogul wants to mix business with pleasure and Sophie can’t seem to resist. Thoughts: This was a very fast paced book, there didn’t seem to be a lull in the story at all. Great writing style, with deep characters and a beautiful ending that just made my heart melt. I enjoyed getting to know the characters, their struggles, their passion, and their hurts. They were very easy to relate to, and I’m going to miss them now that it’s over. I liked the fact that I didn’t know what was going to happen next, I knew Sophie and Xavier would end up together, it is an HEA after all, but trying to see how it was going to happen wasn’t easy. When I thought Sophie was going to say no, she would surprise me and say yes. And when I thought she would say yes, a few times I was devastated when she said no. And as a new to me author I will be reading more of Ms. Madison’s work. Favorite Quotes: “I could tongue surf my way down to his lollipop garden.” I received a free copy from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

But she knows with Xavier it is going to be hard to go forward but she plans on keeping things professional. But Xavier is a man that knows how to get what he wants and he has Sophie in is target ranges. Sophie Ashton works as a concierge in Boston for the rich and famous and it's a long way from the foster care life that she grew up in. It's been two years since her ex-boyfriend, Sato, broke her heart and she has vowed to never start something up with another client. Well in walks Xavier Quinn....a billionaire who owns his own company and wants Sophie to devote the next month to only working for him while he is in Boston. A very large check convinces Sophie to do this. As Xavier and Sophie spend more time together, it is very obvious that they both have strong ties to each other. Sophie is hesitant to start anything after what happened with Sato, but she eventually gives in. I loved the push and pull these two went through. Xavier is used to getting everything he wants and he decided he wanted Sophie. I really enjoyed both of these characters and their back stories. It was enjoyable learning about the Japanese culture and how they are so different with the way they do things. I really enjoyed Sophie's friends. They seemed like a really colorful bunch. I liked the part with Xavier's family but I wish there would have been more about them in the story. It seemed like there was a lot of missing back story. Overall this was an enjoyable story with very likeable characters and I really loved their happy ending!

Thanks to Random House Publishing Group - Loveswept via NetGalley for a copy of this book! Bound to You is book 1 in the "At Your Service" Series and it's a great beginning! This is the first book I've read by Shawntelle Madison and I'll be reading more! I haven't read any BDSM books lately and it was nice to be reading one! I enjoyed this story a great deal. The two characters had "that spark" that makes for a good book! I like Sophie and when she met Xavier...FIREWORKS!! She's been hurt before by a past DOM, but he's sees that she has passion that he wants to release! Looking forward to reading Book 2 in this series!

This is the first book by Ms Madison I have read and I can honestly say I am now a huge fan...I will now need to read her other books as I truly enjoy her style. This book is a wonderfully delightful romp between two perfectly matched characters...they have such good chemistry together and just really work to make this the type of story you would enjoy reading time and again because you'll get something different from it each time...I highly recommend it to anyone who just wants to escape into the world of characters that will make you smile and laugh...and perhaps even think a bit! Wow! When I’d seen the title and cover I felt this was going to be good read but it was so much more then I expected. The story-line was so captivating, a definite page turner. The chemistry between the main characters is sizzling hot, so sensually erotic; silky smooth! This was my first read from Shawntelle Madison, and definitely not my last; now on my author follow list! ****An advance reading copy of “Bound To You” by Shawntelle Madison was provided to me from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review

Overall a pretty good read but... The blurb and the story itself don't really seem to line up. I felt like the author was trying to take the story one way - more kink and bdsm elements - when what came out was much closer to a contemporary romance. Nothing wrong with that it just doesn't live up to what is advertised. I never really felt the strong chemistry between the characters either. Sophie was no doubt a very strong business woman but I didn't really feel the submissive in the bedroom. Xavier too comes across as strong in business and while a sensual lover I never felt the dominate side the author was going for. If your looking for a sensual entertaining read than definitely give this one a try! If you like your books with a bit more kink, I'm not sure this is the one you're looking for.
