Meet the Author

Born and bred in Essex, England, Marie Coulson discovered her love of writing in her early teens. Beginning with poetry and song lyrics, she tried her hand at creative writing while studying for her English GCSE.It was love at first line.Unfortunately, Marie's career as a childcare and education practitioner soon took up most of her time and writing became something she only dreamed about. In the summer of 2012 she quit her job and enrolled at university, ready to start a new career as a therapist. This left her with a lot of time on her hands and on August the 20th she sat down and wrote the first chapter of Bound Together.Bound Together was a story that had been waiting three years to be written and when fingers hit the keyboard...Layla, Jared and Ollie's story was born.Look out for other books by Marie Coulson including the tantalizing sequel to Bound Together. Torn Apart - due for release Spring 2013.

This book was way too long with such a terrible outcome. It seemed like 3/4 of the book was Layla projecting her feelings about both boys and she was whiny about it. I read the whole book thinking there would have been a much happier ending than there was. I was greatly disappointed about this book.

    Mediocre

This book needs to be cut! 1,300 plus of pages of repetition gets boring! The author could have condensed and cut this book to make it concise and enjoyable. This is NOT even close to Twilight. It is a story of a nineteen year old's sexual awakening. When I say sexual, I mean sexual. This book is too explicit for teens. I would say geared toward those ages 18 and up. Layla, the girl in this story has a lot of growing up to do, and need to realize her strengths without being so dependent emotionally, and if you think she would have done this within the 1,300+ pages, then you're wrong. This book is promising, but needs content work. If you're looking for something cerebral, this has nothing to offer you.

    Total Author Magic

It is very rare that when a love triangle is created I don't automatically have a favorite. Marie Coulson somehow manages to create to perfect champions for Layla. One the rich and powerful, lonely sex god, Jared; the other, charming, lovable, romantic rock god, Oliver. Layla's character was impressive in that she wasn't your typical whiny, confused, clueless wimp. She knew that she loved them both in different ways, but yet which love was right for her. I have to say, I honestly read the whole book and wasn't sure who I wanted her to end up with! Can't wait for more from Marie Coulson!

    So far

So far i havent finished yet but as of right now i like it but some things bother me. The book consists of lots of fights and i love yous.....to many i love yous. I dont like how layla is childish and the fact that she has jared but still wants ollie and gets jealous. Makes me think shes gonna cheat. I dont care too much for ollie because of how layla feels for him.

Good story plot....it was a little in the long side especially since THERE IS A SEQUEL...Oh Layla is a mess she seems sweet but she can be soooo selfish & winey. The ending of Bound Together was disappointing. I hope Layla, Ollie & Jarred story ends the way I hope!!!

    Horrid

This is strictly a book for teens. The heroine of this book is extremely annoying, whiny, and cried every five seconds. She was destructive, violent and needy. This girl couldnt make a decision to breathe without throwing up and crying for hours. Shame on this author for writing a woman character so weak and miserable. Horrible book!
