This was a long book that ran at a steady pace, the characters are great and lovable, and the story-line is unique which makes the book stand out for me. Jordan is not just a normal boy, his dreams tell the future, and he has to accept the fact that he could possibly have prevented his brothers death if only he had realized his gift earlier! He is drawn into a path to find his way to the 'lavender shop' a place in-between our world and the next where he must recover an ancient scroll, yet once achieved he realizes it is only the start and he delves into the spiritual world further to answer his questions about what is happening. Then his friends start to vanish and he is pushed to his limits, resulting in a face-to-face fight off with the guy who has been trailing his development....
