The full story of Segatashya and the scope of related people and events tied to Rwanda in the last two decades of the 20th century and beyond causes the honest, reflective reader to not only pause but to come to terms with is essential for human development and salvation. Immaculee has done the world an incredible favor to have spent so much time researching this this wonderful boy and young man and bringing us His story! Those who study Hagiography as well as those who enjoyed the story of Todd Burpo ("Heaven is For Real") will find reading this account a particularly moving experience as will many others who seek solid support in their faith and a sense of direction. Five stars.

I was skeptical at first, but now I'm convinced without a shadow of doubt that a miracle truly occurred in Rwanda. Segatashya's story really touched my heart and left me wanting to know more about his incredible life. My only gripe is that I wish the author shared more of Segatashya's messages. I understand that most of his recordings were destroyed during the genocide, but still I long for more Segatashya! I'll definitely be checking out more books from Ms. Ilibagiza. Bottom line, I think this a must-read for anyone who enjoys reading about God's work through visionaries. I thoroughly enjoyed this book!

What can I say, I attempted to read the book, but kept being put off by how the author repeatedly would refer to her other books. I mean over and over again. It also sounded like more of an autobiography of someone who was hearing a story from someone else. I guess I was just upset because I was wanting to like this book even forced myself a good ways through it so I gave it way more than a chance. The messages the boy puts forth is great, but its the dragging of feet in between those messages is what was a turn off. I am not a fan off to find a new book hope its not a let down as this one was.

Written by a beautiful courageous woman who has a deep love for her Creator.. This was a truly inspirational book about God's grace through his beloved Son and Mother and warns of our dire need to turn back to love.
I have often thought how upside-down our world has become where hate and evil have become accepted. This lovely boy sacrificed much to spread the message of Jesus to return to love. May God bless him and Immaculee.

If you have read the lives of the saints these experiences closely follow some of their experiences. Now we have the hard part to follow the message.

This book was great. The message lifted my spirit instantly. I would recommend anyone to read this story. I admit it started a bit slow but after chapter 3 it got right to the boy and his journey.
