Overview

Tales of the Shareem: Braden (Book 5) is a novel of 53,000 words, eighteen chapters.

Braden, a level-three Shareem, never thought hed find anything interesting in a library, of all places. That is, until he spies Elisa nArell sitting behind a reference desk. Shes lovely, polite, and uses cute words like mustnt.

The trouble is, the pretty librarian is a registered celibate, off-limits, forbidden, especially for the nearly outlawed Shareem. The second problem is, Braden has come into the library to research the problem of getting Shareem off the planet, an activity that could get him arrested and all Shareem killed. He needs the librarians help to get into restricted databases, but he cant tell her why.

Elisa knows good and well that her motives for taking the robes of a celibate were less than pure. When Braden walks into her library, he takes her breath away. He tempts her to put aside her vows for a time and find out what shes sacrificing. At the same time shes determined to discover why Braden tricked her into giving him clearance for restricted information, and then was so bent on giving her presents in return.

Elisa asks Braden to teach her, and enters a world of heat and passion shed never known existed. Too late, Elisa finds that forbidden fruit tastes the best of all . . .

Note: This novel is for readers over the age of eighteen. Includes scorching scenes, language, and some brief mfm.

Elisa, a librarian on the planet Bor Narga and a virgin who has taken a vow of celibacy, is about to embark on an exciting adventure of self discovery. A discovery of unbelievable sexual ecstasy, of personal growth, of the meaning of devotion and of love. She will meet a Shareem who will change her and her life forever. That Shareem is Braden. The Shareem were created to be the ultimate sex toys for the ruling women of Bor Narga. On this planet, the women are in control of everything and the general belief is that men are unintelligent and unnecessary for all but the most menial of tasks. The Shareem were created for the rare women who do wish to indulge in sex. Not even officially considered human, they have been bred to be super masculine and sexually irresistible. They are endowed with super-human size, sex drive and physical attributes but believed to be of lower intelligence and incapable of deep emotions, such as love. They are also rendered sterile. There are three levels of Shareem: Level One was genetically engineered to be nurturing and gentle lovers. Level Two is about fun, sexual games and playful enjoyment. Level Three are the dominant, sexually overpowering, no nonsense masters in the bedroom. But underneath that is the overriding desire to impart care, protection and foster trust. Their ultimate goal is to teach a woman about her sexuality and those deeper attributes that can be developed through it. Braden is Level Three. There is a good plot with excellent flow throughout the entire story. I was enchanted by Ms. James's ability to lend a magical and engaging charm to her characters and scenes. I also loved that the story is packed with exciting, exotic sex between raging hot women and 'super' men. The sizzling sexual heat in this story is dynamic and propels the plot forward in a compelling way. I found it hard to put this book down and enjoyed the clever weaving of the many layers in this tale into something I was pleased to find was deeper and more profound than it first seemed. I must also say that I had fun with this read and really appreciate the author's sense of humor and instinct in knowing how to give the story a lightness of heart. This is a stand-alone story, but the sixth in the series. I now own every one of them and Allyson James has a new convert in me! If you too enjoy a fairy tale romance with above average and meaningful depth, then you won't go wrong in reading Braden. Originally posted at Whipped Cream Reviews

What's not to love about a 7' tall man who's genetically engineered to give pleasure to women? Especially when he falls for the librarian. Hot sexy man chases the self imposed celibate librarian....while helping the rest of his friends on their quest for freedom. It's got the intrigue of a spy novel, a searing romance, alien world to get your sci-fi juices going, and hot sex and BDSM... You must read the whole series....it makes more sense when read in order, but definitely a Must Read. Thank you Allyson James....I like the way your mind works, and can't wait to read more....

A 140 page free erotic BDSM story of an experimental male who goes to the library for research, and finds he deeply wishes to research the librarian. A hot erotic tale on a hot desert planet with plenty of detailed BDSM sex scenes. An excerpt of the next story is provided.
