Meet the Author

Mike Askew has spent the last 20 years seeking out and applying techniques of keeping his mind as sharp as possible. Making a living as an engineer has required the ability to gather new information quickly, recognize trends, and translate these findings into creative solutions for new products. In addition, meeting the needs of an active family life with his wife and three boys also called for clear thinking beyond his job.

Through his 20's and 30's Mike took his memory, ability to concentrate, and agile thinking for granted. However, the beginning years of middle age marked a noticeable dip in these abilities. Not wanting to loose his mental edge, Mike renewed his research into how to maximize the brain's potential. What he found was a wealth of good news from neuroscience research performed over the past 10 years.

The essence of what he found was that how we feed our brain, how we rest our brain, and how we train our brain profoundly affects our mental agility. The hope in this is that regardless of age we can eat, rest and train our brain to its maximum potential. It is never too late to improve memory, concentration, and how fast we think.

From this research Mike determined to get this message out to as many as possible. People need to know that they do not have to settle for reduced mental agility as they age. Brain Maintenance 101 is his first ebook is this effort to deliver this message to others in a straightforward and practical way.
