Breaching the Billionaire: Alethea's Redemption (Book 6 of the Legacy Collection)

Alethea is at a crossroad. For as long as she could remember, it was her and her best friend, Lil, against the world. Now that Lil has met Prince "I have my own helicopter" Charming and reconnected with her family, Alethea is on the outside looking in, justifying who she's always been to people who have never understood her. When she uncovers a looming threat to Lil's family, she's determined to save them, even after they tell her not to get involved and assign their best man to stop her.

Marc Stone has been watching Alethea ever since she waltzed through his security system and right into his late night fantasies. As a decorated Marine, he's seen war, but nothing could prepare him for this wild redhead. Strong. Beautiful. Flawed, and fiercely protective. Hard to love, and impossible to deny.

If she'll stop fighting him long enough, he'll show her just how perfect they are for each other. That is, if she doesn't get them both killed first.

Meet the Author

Ruth Cardello was born the youngest of 11 children in a small city in northern Rhode Island. She spent her young adult years moving as far away as she could from her large extended family. She lived in Boston, Paris, Orlando, New York--then came full circle and moved back to Rhode Island. She now happily lives one town over from the one she was born in. For her, family trumped the warmer weather and international scene.

She was an educator for 20 years, the last 11 as a kindergarten teacher. When her school district began cutting jobs, Ruth turned a serious eye toward her second love- writing and has never been happier. When she's not writing, you can find her chasing her children around her small farm, riding her horses, or connecting with her readers online.

I have read every book from Ruth Cardello. And every book I come

I have read every book from Ruth Cardello. And every book I come across of hers I say to myself "yup this one is my favorite." But I am telling you this book is my FAVORITE.

Alethea what can I say about her? I love how dedicated she is in her work. I love how she is over protective of her friends. She risks her life for her friends. Something I doubt most would really do today. I loved how she was strong but when it came to Marc she wasn't as strong as she thought she was. I liked how the love was formed between them. My favorite part from her is when she finally lashed out on Lil, Abby, Nicole, and Marie. I jumped out of my chair. They needed to see that she was actually trying to help them not hurt them. How it was them that needed to change not her.

Marc OMG he is my new book boyfriend. I loved how he didn't let Alethea's attitude get to him or make him leave her. I loved how strong he was and forth coming he was with her. It was something Alethea needed. The intensity of their feelings for each other was strong. I of course loved how he proposed to her. That brought me down to crying, not just tears, actually crying for joy.

I have to say I loved this quote I had the best laugh today because of that saying. Hey read the book and you'll know why.

Jakes deep laugh boomed through the room "Back away, Dominic don't say another word. Run for flowers."

I also have to mention that in book five Rise of the Billionaire Ruth mentioned Batman and Robin. In this book I had the biggest smile when I saw her mention Captain America.

Well anyways this is a book I will be talking about for days if not weeks about. If you have not read anything from Ruth Cardello you are missing out on one of the best Series I have ever read.

I love this series. Since this is book six, please do not start

I love this series. Since this is book six, please do not start reading here. Please start with Maid for the billionaire. Its free and worth it. Alethea is a tough girl on the outside. She doesn't like letting people close to her except her best friend Lil. Her friend Lil has found love but not total happiness. Lil wants her sister Abby and Alethea to get along, but Abby has never really liked Alethea. Alethea got Lil into a lot of trouble as a teen and put Abby and sister in a tough spot several times. Alethea knows that she cant let the people she loves down so she has to step up and let them know that someone is still causing problems for all of them. Everyone thinks is just her causing problems and not letting everyone be happy. Soon everyone realizes that Aelthea is right and they all need to work together and solve the problems as a family and except Alethea for who she is and what she has done for all of them. Marc is her perfect match and shows her trust, love and the family she could have if she will let them in. The question is, Can she trust them all with her heart and let the real Alethea be a friend, family, and wife?

This wonderful series, the "Legacy Collection," began

This wonderful series, the "Legacy Collection," began with the love story of Dominic Corisi and Abigail Dartley in “Maid for the Billionaire.” Then we fell in love with Nicole Corisi and Stephan Andrade in book two, “Love or Legacy.” In the third book we met Lil Dartley and Jake Walton in “Bedding the Billionaire.” In book four we are “Royally” introduced to Zhang Yajun and Sheikh Rachid bin Amir al Hantan in “Saving the Sheikh. In Book five, “Rise of the Billionaire,” we fall in love with Jeisa Borreto and Jeremy Kater. Now, in my opinion, the best book yet of this amazing series, number six, “Breaching the Billionaire - Alethea’s Redemption,” we meet Alethea Niarchos and Marc Stone. Alethea is a security expert who is always looking for ways to protect her friends, especially her best friend Lil. Lil has met the love of her life, Jake, and Alethea feels like she is out of Lil’s close circle and is outside looking in. Everyone seems to misjudge Alethea’s attempts to protect her friends, but instead believe her interests are self-centered. Marc, a decorated marine, and also a security expert, suspects Alethea may know something about the security breach threatening Dominic Corisi’s company, and takes it upon himself to keep her under observation. Alethea suspects what Marc is doing and tries turning the tables on him. You can only imagine what happens when Alethea and Marc begin to observe each other in more ways than one, and they both come to realize they each have met their match. This wonderful book brings back the characters from all of the preceding five books, and babies will be born and a wedding will occur. As these families and friends bond together to protect each other, they truly become a “family!” This book is hot, amazing and very sexy. This truly is one of the best series I have ever read! Ruthie Cardello’s books keep getting better and better and this book is the best of the best!!!!

Finished Ruth Cardello's newest book tonight and loved it. It was all that was expected and then some. If you been reading this series from the start you must read this one. If you are a new reader to Ruth hurry & catch up this latest one is freaking awesome
So glad we are finally able to read Alethea's story as I always had a soft spot for her and thought there was a missing story there. Adore how Ruth ties all of the other's we love from past books without distracting us from Marc & Alethea's story. Loved how Abby & Alethea ended up friends they just both needed to realize they love Liz and can both be her friend while the other is

    Very Happy

The push and pull of the discovery of love and trust had me unable to put the book down. How Al was right about being who she is and Marc admitting he loved her for who she was. I was happy that Lil & Jake were finally able to say I do. I just wish that Stephen & Nicole could have said I do also and since it was it was Alethea's book they should have married too!!! But otherwise I would not have changed a thing...it was fantastic and worth the read. I highly recommend it!

This is the final book in the Legacy series and I was not disapp

This is the final book in the Legacy series and I was not disappointed. There is suspense, intrigue and deception along with friendship, love and sexual attraction. The characters are very will defined and the storyline keeps you wanting more! Ruth Cardello does not disappoint. This may be the last in this series but I look forward to much more from the Andrades and this author.

    Ruth at her BEST!

This is Ruth Cardello at her absolute BEST! I can't get enough of the Legacy Series. Alethea goes from a not-so-likable character to one of my favorites! You finally get to see the real Alethea. And throwing in Marc Stone is what makes this book awesome. You get to see the lives continue of all the other key Legacy characters. This one may be my favorite of the 6 books. I'm ready for the new series!!

Book six in The Legacy Collection, was smoking hot, my favorite,

Book six in The Legacy Collection, was smoking hot, my favorite, and deserved more than five stars!! Alethea, what can I say about her, she is a security expert, and can usually get past systems that people would have sworn by. She is beautiful, smart and loyal to a fault. She would gladly lay down her life for her friends. She is also totally misunderstood. When Alethea discovers that there is a threat against her best friend Lil, and her family, nothing will stop her from protecting them. Well, nothing except Marc, head of security for Dominic Corisi. Lil's family sees it differently and thinks that Alethea sees problems where their are none, and they have Marc to keep an eye on Alethea. Marc understands her, she drives him crazy sometimes, but he does not easily dismiss her ideas, instead he works with her. This book is about friends, family, forgiveness, and new beginnings. Once again, the characters from the previous books are intertwined in this one. I laughed, I cried and I rooted for Alethea, all the way, she just wanted to be loved and accepted by her best friends family, but she ended up with a whole lot more!! I cannot wait to read more about the Andrades, that are getting there own series, and to see who the matchmaking women in this series pairs up next. Kudos to Ruth Cardello, your books just keep getting better!!

    Ok

    ## I have mixed feelings about this one. It's good but not great. This book does not really stand alone. I was lost during some of the book. I didn't know how the heroine knew any of these people. Had I read Jeremy's story I think I would've been fine so I suggest doing that if you are interested in this one. I felt like the hero fell in love a little too quick. It seems they had some kind of "relationship" (business I'm guessing) in the previous book so maybe that's how the hero knew her well enough to fall. Because they really didn't talk all that much in this book. I don't think I'll read this again.
