Maja Kefe?ek is involved with studying and promoting healthy and natural food for a number of years. She finished Natural Cooking School at Makronova, and attended numerous courses and workshops on healthy food and healthy lifestyle. She leads cooking workshops, teaches cooking and writes about it. In the past several years she collaborated with Makronova Institution on a number of educational projects, such as natural food courses, Natural Cooking School and residential seminars. By profession, she is an engineer of geology and paleontology. She lives in Zagreb, enjoys cooking for friends and family, experimenting with new ingredients, making up new recipes, and travelling, where she explores local ingredients and ways of food preparation. She is the author of Sweet & Savoury Bakery.
