Where do I start? She was the first artist I saw on Mtv! Because of You, that song makes me cry every time I heard it. I just love it. Now I im going to learn how to play the guitar, and maybe get singing lessons. I've come a long way, no matter what you say. She was the one who introduced me to music.
Kelly is a very touching artist, every album is unique. I recommend this album to everyone.

This is one of the only CD's that actually put all the GOOD songs on one disk. Most space them out with lower songs. I highly recommend the songs Breakaway and Behing These Hazel Eyes. Those songs( if you can hear the words correctly) can leave an impact on your soul.

I really love this CD because I could relate to so many of the songs on it. It could have been written about my own personal experiences! I only knew a couple of the songs from the radio when I got it, but I quickly discovered that it is full of great song after great song! This entire CD is really exceptional and I highly recommend it to all of Kelly Clarkson's fans and anyone who wants to know what all the fuss is about!

All of the songs are fantastic. The ones on the radio everyone knows are great, but the rest of the cd is just as good after listening to it a few times. Awesome job - she keeps getting better and better!

A good but not great Sophomore CD. While there is an influence of Avril Lavign and Pink in this CD, it’s still a great performance. The inspiring title Track, Breakaway is fun and fanciful, yet has a great message. There are at least 4 songs I love on this CD (which is a must if I am going to purchase it). Kelly’s voice is strong and raspy with a lot of emotion behind it. Not overdone. Fresh and beautiful. The only song I thought was a little campy and seemed like it was only done to get airplay was “Because of You.” Not my favorite and it not only sounded, but looked in the video release like a bad rendition of Pink. Other than that, she deserved the Grammy’s she received and this is well worth the listen.

I have loved Kelly Clarkson from the beginning. She only continued to grow vocally through this album and showed what great song writer she is. She's very talented I recommend this cd from the first song to the last.

Kelly Clarkon's CD, Breakaway, is my absolute favorite CD. Breakaway is entirely different from Kelly's debut, Thankful. While Thankful was light, Breakaway has more of an edge to it. 1) Breakaway - 10/10 - Catchy tune & great lyrics. 2) Since U Been Gone -10/10 - My 2nd favorite song on the disk. Great rock chorus! 3) Behind These Hazel Eyes - 10/10 - Catchy chorus that'll be stuck in your head for days! 4) Because of You - 20/10 - My FAVORITE song! It's an amazing ballod with great lyrics written about her dad. 5) Gone - 9/10 - Great chorus. OK verses. 6) Addicted - 7/10 - This song gets annoying. 7) Where is Your Heart - 7/10 - Another ballod. It's forgettable, though. 8) Walk Away - 9/10 - This is Kelly's newest single. It's not as good as her others, but still is a good song. 9) You Found Me - 9/10 - This is one of the most "pop" songs on Breakaway, and it has a really catchy chorus. 10) I Hate Myself For Losing You - 5/10 - This is the only song on this disk that I really can't stand. 11) Hear Me - 10/10 - Great song. I'm surprised they haven't made it into a single yet. 12) Beautiful Disaster (Live) - 9/10 - I loved the song Beautiful Disaster, but I liked the live version even more. Overall, Breakaway is an amazing CD. It has five hit singles, Breakaway, Since U Been Gone, Behind These Hazel Eyes, Because of You, and Walk Away. Kelly Clarkson is extremely talented and has won two Grammies for Breakaway, "Best Pop Album" and "Best Pop Song: Since U Been Gone." I really reccomend this disk!!

Kelly Clarkson is amazing!!! I kept on hearing her songs on the radio, and I absolutely luved 'em soooooo..... much! Believe it or not, I actually didn't know that she won American Idol. How duh-full is that, or what? When I finally got the CD, I played it, like, three times a day, even during homework and all that stuff. I seriously get the chills when I hear Breakaway. That and Behind These Hazel Eyes and Since U Been Gone are some of my many favorite songs. I can't stop listening to her CD, and sometimes I go a little loco- okay, maybe a lot! :) Man, I wish I had a voice as great as hers (Kelly's, of course!). Her songs have great words, are emotional, and just awesome! If you're ready for the best music of your life, get off your computer right this very second and go buy the CD or borrow it from someone or the library or do whatever you can do to get your hands (or should I say ears?) on it. You'll love Kelly's music!!!

When Kelly first came out, I didn't like her music, but now, she is awsome. My opinion. Anyway, I gotta say, this style fits her and her voice so much better that her first stuff.
