Editorial Reviews

Publishers Weekly
Youngsters can start their day with two board books by Lisa Campbell Ernst: Good Morning, Sun! and Breakfast Time!, in which a little bunny and his family go through the rituals of waking up and eating breakfast. Finger shaped grooves makes flipping pages easy, even for smallest hands. Copyright 2006 Reed Business Information.
Children's Literature
Each day presents new opportunities for your infant or toddler to learn about his or her environment, to absorb new experiences, and to learn new words. For the smallest children, learning new routines creates excellent opportunities for growth. The "Learn to Turn" board book series presents common words and situations from everyday life. Join baby bunny as he chats with kitty and munches toast, cereal, and milk for his morning meal. Adding this book to your morning routine is a cinch. Keep baby busy leafing through the pages as you prepare the morning meal and read to your child while the cereal cools. Reinforcing words that are similar from the book to the real world enhances your child's listening vocabulary and comprehension of his or her own morning routine. This unique board book has durable, strong pages that will withstand multiple readings, spilt milk, and maybe even a little drool. The addition of the half circle notches makes for easy page turning even for the youngest listeners. The cushioned inserts between the pages keep baby's face safe. So sit back and enjoy reading to your children to stimulate early learning and greater understanding of the world around him or her. 2006, Blue Apple Books, Ages 6 mo. to 2.
