What I want to know is: When is the sequel to this book coming out? This is the most realistic and funniest baseball story I've ever read. As a former semi-pro baseball player, let me tell you that THIS is the way players really behave. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. It is difficult finding a realistic fictional story about baseball since most are fantasies disguised as novels, but this one is as realistic as they come. The best fiction baseball book I've read since The Natural. Since the writer is from Brooklyn could we have a new Bernard Malamud? Time will tell. Was this review helpful?
