The Wonderfully Romantic Read from Bestselling Author MJ Summers...

Luc Chevalier, successful businessman and well-known heart breaker, has everything he desires: power, luxury, beautiful women . . . and no strings attached. Now, an accidental meeting is about to make him question everything.
Megan Sullivan is a single mom with a rather ordinary life. She is comfortable with things just the way they are. She has a six-year-old son, Elliott, a cozy house in Boulder, Colorado, and a photography business to put food on the table. Her ex lives hours away in Florida, which is plenty close enough. Megan is on her own and she intends to keep it that way.

On a chance trip to Paris with her best friend, Megan stumbles into Luc's seemingly perfect world. They agree to one night together and no more. Yet that night changes Megan. Luc manages to draw out the passionate woman that Megan has carefully hidden away for years. But she knows she's out of her depth: Luc is beautiful, ruthless and - somewhere deep down inside - irreparably damaged.

Can two people who've yet to find true happiness put aside their fears and fight for what they truly want?

One thing is for sure: life won't, life can't, ever be the same again.

PRAISE FOR BREAKING LOVE

"Breaking Love is perfect, it's addictive, provocative and all things naughty and nice."

"A fun, often humorous, escapist tale that will have readers blushing, laughing and rooting for its characters."
~ KIRKUS Reviews

MJ Summers is slowly killing me. First she wrote a book about a sexy cowboy and now she's written one about a sexy Frenchman. I loved Breaking Love and it was worth every one of the 5 stars that I gave it.
~ Karen, A Thousand Lives Book Blog

What other authors so often fail, MJ championed in this book: in many books this long process of will they/won't they is just too long and after some time it loses the whole appeal, but here... it was not flat or boring for a second, it was all the time gripping and had you on the tips of your toes.
Altogether, the book has made a fascinating, steamy... quick read. Why quick? Well, because I couldn't put it down, so engrossed was I in Megan and Luc's lives. It is a brilliant love story written with a lot of feeling and understanding.... MJ Summers can really write a hot romance with great characters in it, full of misunderstandings, twist and turns, heartbreaks and hurt but still with a lot of joy and that is a great entertainment. I have really enjoyed this book and will be keeping my eye on MJ Summers in the future.
~ On My Book Shelf Review Blog

I absolutely loved MJ Summers story writing, she really manages to suck you in and I was actually quite surprised at how engrossing I found Luc and Megan's story...This was an incredibly enjoyable read. It's steamy, it's romantic, it's full of drama and passion. A seriously engrossing, unputdownable read.

Meet the Author

MJ Summers currently resides in Alberta, Canada, not far from the Rocky Mountains, with her husband, three young children and their goofy dog. When she's not writing romance novels, she loves reading (obviously), snuggling up on the couch with her family for movie night (which would not be complete without lots of popcorn and milkshakes), hiking, Zumba and yoga (to make up for the milkshakes), swimming and camping (with lots of gooey s'mores and hard ciders). She also loves shutting down restaurants once a month with her girlfriends. Well, not literally shutting them down, like calling the health inspector or something. More like just staying until they shut the lights off.

MJ is a member of the Romance Writers of America, as well as the International Women's Writing Guild.

MJ would love to hear from you and does her best to respond to all emails personally. She also enjoys joining book club meetings (via Skype if not in her area).

Throughly enjoyed series.

This is not a cliffhanger. I took a chance in selecting this book because it was based upon a single other. The quandary of being a good mom and finding love is a serious issue and well defined here. You will find a story of a good mother and dedicated daughter trying to have it all... hot sex, chocolate, great sex, wine, mind blowing sex, and fun while insuring her child's safety. Thiis is a sure fire selection to read and love.

Luc has a thriving business which is a nightclub. He has all the money, excitement, and women he could ever want. Megan is a single mom with a five year old son Ethan then travels to Paris to see her friend Harper. Megan meets Luc and they hook up. It was only to be one night but became more and Luc saw Megan when he could but no strings but Megan was falling for Luc.But neither wants to see Megan’s son Ethan hurt so they decide to end the relationship. A really good story. A little drama in the story and and a little boy and a long distance romance. All came together in a great way. Well written. I really enjoyed the characters especially Megan and Luc and all the ups and downs the went through. I recommend. I received an Arc of this story for an honest review.

(This review is based on ARC, advanced reader copy, ebook via NetGalley in exchange for an honest opinion.) Breaking Love is book #2 of the Full Hearts series by M. J. Summers. It is a standalone contemporary romance centered around Luc Chevalier, a rich Frenchman committed to remaining a bachelor, and Megan Sullivan, a divorced American single mother, who meets Luc while on a brief trip to Paris. Since this is the first book of the series I have read, I can only go by other reviews which claim Luc is also mentioned in the first book, Break in Two. As both are convinced they never want to marry, they start an unconventional relationship that continues when Megan returns to America. Their back and forth romance becomes literally and figuratively, as they struggle to come to terms with their deepening feelings for each other. Full of angst, emotional denial, misunderstandings, romantic gestures, and graphic steamy scenes, their romance unfolds at a steady pace with the help of a believable cast of secondary characters concluding with a romantic HEA. My only complaint with the writing is the occasional crass language that just seemed to be thrown in for no reason. Overall, this reviewer enjoyed this romantic tale and would like to read the rest of the series. Full Hearts series: Break in Two - Book 1, Breaking Love – Book 2, Breaking Clear – Book 3, Breaking Hearts – Book 4, Don’t Let Go (Novella)
