    a must read for all Africans trapped in america

    i read this book my jr. year in high school and it was the best thing i ever did. even as a young person this book has had an ever lasting impression on me. it hepled me understand who i was and why i was that way. when i go to college next fall i'm bringing it with me and will loan it out to any Afircan seeking to gain a better knowledge of themself.

    A Mental Medical break-through for the Black Man.

    Until you know what the problem is,you really can not find a cure. Dr.Akbar points out that problem plain and simple ,very clear. I would recommend that every black man study this book

    Discovery of self!

    This book should be required reading for all Afro-Americans and others who desire to understand the effects of slavery on so-called blacks in N.America. I wanted to give this book six stars.

    A New Beginning in My Life!

    The book 'Breaking the Chains of Psychology Slavery' by Na'im Akbar has changed the way in which I see myself, the behavior of African-Americans and America herself. European-scholars are quick to say that everyone, including African-Americans benefited from the labor of slavery. Na'im Akbar makes a clear argument of how the-making-of-slavery and slavery itself had a devastating effect on the psyche of Africans in America. A MUST READ!!!

    Moving Simply Moving

    A must read for all young black men and women. It offers reasons for the condition of the Black community. Then offers solutions. Challenging to the soul if your honest with yourself.
