Outrageously, her breast lump was misdiagnosed several times by her doctors before she was properly diagnosed with breast cancer, despite her having obtained all the prescribed tests. Meet the Author

Robin Gray is a graduate with special honors, magna cum laude, from the Towson State University Baccalaureate Nursing Program and has completed postgraduate studies from the Johns Hopkins University. Her early working experience in nursing was in acute care medicine, cardiac telemetry, and intensive care. More recently, she has been a stay-at-home mom and writer. Additionally, she is a breast cancer survivor who has suffered a seventeen-month breast cancer misdiagnosis by well-trained and experienced physicians who were also her husband's trusted colleagues. Since her misdiagnosis, she has extensively researched the causes of physician related breast cancer misdiagnosis and the proper standard of care for breast lump assessment. Finally, she has been an active advocate for breast cancer awareness. As part of her commitment to this cause, she will donate a percentage of this book's royalties to various breast cancer organizations supporting early diagnosis and treatment.

    INFORMATIVE AND COMPELLING BOOK TO HELP WOMEN GET THE RIGHT BREAST DIAGNOSIS

    BREAST LUMP WHAT LIES BENEATH is a book that every woman with breast lumps should read if they are really interested in early diagnosis. Nowhere else have I read so many insider tips to get the right breast diagnosis, not even in the many medical and nursing books that I have read on this topic. The author states her case so clearly that once a woman finds a breast lump, it is not enough to simply just see a doctor when 10,000 woman a year have their breast misdiagnosed in the USA. If a nurse, married to a physician is not immune to a breast diagnosis, no one is. I am so glad Robin Gray RN has boldly shared the mystery behind her PHYSICIAN RELATED misdiagnosis, as it will educate and help other woman so they won't have to go through a misdiagnosis. I also found her postscript guide on how to avoid a breast cancer misdiagnosis to be the most informative and easy to understand that I have seen to date and I feel it will help many women get the correct diagnosis and save lives.
