Overview

Women are taught to do monthly self breast exams and if a lump is found to immediately consult a physician. Robin M. Gray RN, the author of Breast Lump What Lies Beneath, reveals in her new book that seeing a physician when a breast lump is found is just not enough to obtain life-saving early diagnosis and treatment. She shares how trusting her well-experienced physicians, who claimed to be following proper standards of care, robbed her of early diagnosis that she so desperately deserved. Outrageously, her breast lump was misdiagnosed several times by her doctors before she was properly diagnosed with breast cancer, despite her having obtained all the prescribed tests. After her misdiagnosis, Robin learned that multiple doctor errors were made in her breast care. She also has learned about the secret epidemic where nearly 10,000 women, mainly younger women, yearly suffer a physician related breast cancer misdiagnosis. Often they are wrongly told, "It's nothing to worry about, it's benign fibrocystic condition, and is not cancerous." However, ROBIN GRAY RN WANTS WOMEN TO KNOW WHAT TRULY LIES BENEATH, AS IT IS VITAL FOR EARLY TREATMENT AND SURVIVAL. Therefore, she draws on her experiences and extensive research following her misdiagnosis in order to inform women of the common doctor errors that lead to a breast misdiagnosis. She also offers a step-by step guide to help women avoid a physician related breast misdiagnosis. Her book will help other women get what she missed, early diagnosis and treatment, in order to help save others pain, suffering and a worse prognosis. TO THOSE WHO HAVE ALREADY SUFFERED A BREAST MISDIAGNOSIS- The book contains a chapter that reviews the litigationprocess, beginning with filing a lawsuit to successful settlement. Also, the author unveils how she finally dealt with the pain of her negligent physicians who erred without apology or admission of guilt and how she finally found peace and acceptance in the long aftermath of her breast cancer misdiagnosis.

INFORMATIVE AND COMPELLING BOOK TO HELP WOMEN GET THE RIGHT BREAST DIAGNOSIS

BREAST LUMP WHAT LIES BENEATH is a book that every woman with breast lumps should read if they are really interested in early diagnosis. Nowhere else have I read so many insider tips to get the right breast diagnosis, not even in the many medical and nursing books that I have read on this topic. The author states her case so clearly that once a woman finds a breast lump, it is not enough to simply just see a doctor when 10,000 woman a year have their breast misdiagnosed in the USA. If a nurse, married to a physician is not immune to a breast diagnosis, no one is. I am so glad Robin Gray RN has boldly shared the mystery behind her PHYSICIAN RELATED misdiagnosis, as it will educate and help other woman so they won't have to go through a misdiagnosis. I also found her postscript guide on how to avoid a breast cancer misdiagnosis to be the most informative and easy to understand that I have seen to date and I feel it will help many women get the correct diagnosis and save lives.
