    A Great Book!

Brain Boru: Emperor of the Irish is a very good book. It is about Brian Boru, a prince of the Dalcassian tribe. Brian had a happy life. He was blissfully unaware of the threat that the Vikings posed over other parts of Ireland. That was until they came and destroyed his village and killed members of his family, including his mother. Upon seeing her dead body, Brian vowed that he would someday drive all of the Vikings out of Ireland. But he would have to wait. Brian was being sent away so he could be educated. When Brian was of proper age, he was pulled out of the school so he could fight with his tribe. It was time to put his dream into action. But Brain had trouble convincing his older brother Mahon (who had been King of the Dalcassain tribe since Brian¿s father past away,) to listen to him. Mahon wanted to fight the Vikings the traditional way. Brian pointed out that that way wasn¿t working and suggested a different formation. This made Mahon mad. After a few more arguments, Brian left Mahan¿s army to form his own. Many of Mahon¿s men followed the Dalcassain prince. Brian Boru was very successful. This book tells about his life and the remarkable things he accomplished. Anyone could enjoy it.
