    Lust, Love and Secrets

James has lost his place of employment and has no idea what he is going to do. He is soon to be married to his fiancée Raquel and he wants everything to be perfect. As James begins to reflect over his relationship and life with Raquel, he knows that he has not been an easy man to deal with, but now he is ready to give Raquel everything that she has ever desired. How will he make this happen now that he is unemployed? And how will he tell Raquel?

Raquel has had a difficult life but now that she has the man of her dreams and her wedding is a few weeks away, she wants everything to run smoothly. Her dress is designed and ready, the invitations are sent, the hall is in a fabulous location, and flowers are being flown in for her special day. What could possibly go wrong? Well…. Raquel has a secret that she has been keeping from James for quite some time. Will this secret come to light before her and James’ special day?

This is my first read by Mimi Jefferson and I must say I am really impressed. “The Bride Experiment” has many twists and turns. It is extremely difficult to put the book down. I read it in a day and really enjoyed every page. It shows consequences for choices that we make in our lives when in a relationship and dealing with day to day issues. Mimi Jefferson does a fabulous job pulling scriptures from the bible and teaching us the meaning of love, trust, honesty, compassion, and loyalty. Lust is not an option in this wonderfully written novel. I look forward to reading other novels by this author.
