Like many other reviewers I read this book in a day. I just couldn't put it down. This and "Heartbof the Wilderness" are my favourite books by Janette Oke. This is a must-read for any young christian looking for a captivating book.

It was good until the last 30 pages or so. It was going along fine then they kept jumping

I've read a lot of Janette Oke books but this one wasn't my favorite.

Kathleen reminds me of Cinderella. She has a mean stepmother and has to work hard. Then she goes to America and meets a man who is good and honest and kind (the prince) She has problems and is frustrated at times but her life is a good one.

This book is definately one of the best books I have ever read, and I can justify that because I read it in a day!! I really especially enjoyed how Katherine and Donnigan finally (well I shouldn't be giving this away) fall in love! I definately recommend this book!
