More About This Book

Overview

A warrior with a scarred heart who doesn’t know how to love. And the woman who must teach him how before it’s too late…

The son of the evil AllFather, Xairn is filled with conflicting emotions. On one hand, he has finally gained his freedom and cut the ties that bound him to his race and the sadistic male who is his father. But doing so has unleashed feelings in him Xairn would rather keep buried. Desires that he prayed would never manifest now rage through him and they are centered on one woman alone…

Lauren Jakes is the long lost cousin Liv and Sophie never knew they had. Abducted by the Scourge, she formed a connection with Xairn more meaningful than any other in his life. But though Lauren thinks she knows him, there is more to the huge Scourge warrior than she comprehends. A nightmare childhood and a cruel father have scarred Xairn’s heart almost past the point of healing. But that is nothing to the secret inside him—the forbidden desires coded into his very DNA itself, which urge him to commit unspeakable acts in order to sate his newly awakened hunger.

Now a conflict is brewing—both in Xairn’s soul, and aboard the Fathership where the twisted AllFather has hatched a new, malicious plot to bring his estranged son home. Can Xairn resist the brutal lust growing within him? Can he fight against his very nature which urges him to dominate and control any female he mates? Can Lauren heal his heart before the AllFather’s trap closes on both of them?
And can she teach him how to love before it’s too late?

'Claimed' 'Revealed' and 'Pursued' are not yet available through Nook. I have the three titles that you do have available, but not the others. When will you be getting the rest of the series?

    Good

I've really enjoyed this series, but recommend you don't read this one without reading the others first. Book 4 is my least favorite of the series, although I have enjoyed the set. Looking forward to the next one(s)!

Red hot romance that will have you begging for more!
Lauren is the sweet and sometimes a bit shy cousin of Olivia and Sophie. We got to see a bit of her and Xairn in “Sought” and was glad to see what happened to them in “Found”.
Xairn is scarred and though he is finally free of his father he is still plagued with his uncontrollable desires that he fears would cause Lauren harm. Xairn had a lot of depth as a character and even though he feared he was evil that was never the case. Xairn is an honorable man that I loved getting to know even though his preferences were a bit dark and dangerous. If you thought the twin kindred were kinky wait until you see Xairn in action.
Lauren was a sweet and sometimes shy woman, but she had the heart of a warrior. She knew that Xairn and her belonged together, but had to prove to him that he was capable of love and that she could take whatever he dished out. I loved her as a character and I liked how strong she was when faced with difficult situations. She went through a lot, but never gave up. I also liked the meeting between her and her cousin’s very sweet and fun.
This is a great Sci-Fi-romance series that I highly recommend. It is better to read the books in order though or else you would be lost.
(Fan Girl Moment) I am overjoyed that the author has decided to write a couple more books in the series!! Though I really hope there may be more (:
