Meet the Author

Richard Chevalier Bell, a native of Manteo, North Carolina, has completed over 2,00 landscape architecture projects in his career, designing everything from major city and highway corridors to city parks, university plazas, beach front developments, residences, and more.  The winner of several professional awards, he is also a Fellow of the American Academy in Rome and a distinguished member of the ASLA.  In 2008, Bell was recognized for his many contributions to North Carolina when he was inducted into the Raleigh Hall of Fame.
