British Warplanes is the very best reference I've found on aircraft of the RAF and Fleet Air Arm. Has beautiful photographs and full color pictures. Detailed descriptions of every aircraft included and splendidly drawn three views, in color, of the more famous birds. Highly recommended to anyone interested in aviation history.
