Broadway's Fabulous Phantoms

Editorial Reviews

All Music Guide - Heather Phares
Broadway's Fabulous Phantoms unmasks ten of the Great White Way performers who have starred in The Phantom of the Opera and showcases their talents on other vocal pop and show tunes. Aside from the fact that everyone here played the Phantom on Broadway, each track on the album shares a similarly lush, romantic feel. Other highlights include Davis Gaines' "Ol' Man River" and David Gaschen's "I'll Be Seeing You"; though Michael Crawford's "Charlie" sounds a little dated compared to some of the other tracks, the song still shows off the impressive voice of perhaps the most famous of all the Phantoms of the Opera. Broadway's Fabulous Phantoms is a unique collection, and one that should please die-hard Phantom-philes as well as most fans of show tunes and vocal pop in general.
