    Broccoli sour?

Firstly, I don't think of broccoli as sour at all. It is my favorite vegetable along with cauliflower and am glad to see someone making an effort to try to get kids (and adults) to eat more of it. I do wish the effort were a little better (make that a lot better). As a retired librarian, a parent and grandparent I have read many books for children of all ages and I don't think this is going to hit any best seller lists, or most popular reads list.

I wish the illustrations (the few that there are in this book) were better optimized to show up better or to be enlarged on the iPod touch/iPhone. They look to be entertaining but are really hard to see on the small screen.

It is not that bad of a story but I agree, brocoli is NOT sour. The story is pretty short and not much description going on but, MEHHH.

    They are eating their vegetables

Funny, imaginative way to try to get your kids to try healthy foods, particularly broccoli. I can see a whole room of kids saying "nom glack mlah mlah zuurp"at the dinner table...but who cares as long as they are eating their vegetables?
