I am one of those people who either does not read they synopsis

I am one of those people who either does not read they synopsis or if I do it is way before I get to the book. I like the surprise of it. In this case, I knew I loved the author and did not even skim the synopsis. I am so glad I read it that way because I never knew what was going to happen. In fact, I did not realize it was even about Fae, which are one of my all time faves. I know I would have loved it regardless because it was such a different story and had fae in a unique way. Here are some of the things I loved about it:
*I loved that it was a love story, but not a "find my true love, get marries, have happily ever" after story. It was a love that was already there. A love story that had more story left.
*I do not know how to say this without giving anything away, so this may be too vague to be useful. I loved how the fae's power manifested itself in Bri's world.
* I loved both Bri and Quinn. They were quirky, but real. They were smart, playful, and knew what was worth fighting for even when they could not fight the way they would have liked. They are a great pair and I look forward to see how they develop throughout the series.
*The last scene was AMAZING! That is all I have to say on that ;).
This book was a great start to what I believe will be a phenomenal series! If you like your para with adventure, romance, and a bit of mystery, this book is probably for you. This is definitely an 18 plus read, so if you are under 18, I would look elsewhere to get your fae fix.

Dark and Edgy!

Get a taste for the Fae in this dark, edgy, dangerous, urban fantasy that will have you gobbling up the pages in search for all the sizzling chemistry between feisty Bri, and her oh-so-very delectable counterpart, Quinn, as magic wreaks delicious mayhem.

This book kept me captivated as Bri's happy world crumbles to pieces in a terrifying unexpected moment...I couldn't read fast enough as it continued to build to an ending I never saw coming! I can't wait to find out what happens next!

The characters were FABULOUS...and Quinn...Quinn...Quinn, the next time you're just hanging out around a wall, please come find me!!! SIGH! So HOT!

O.K. - Slow in alot of parts! Not sure if I will get the next book in the series. 161 pages for $.99 so not alot of money wasted. A different kind of paranormal book, and I agree it was dark in parts.

As many of you know I am a huge Belinda Boring fan, so when I was asked to review this book I jumped at the chance.  Let me just say Belinda's writing just gets better and better with each book she puts out.   My only problem was that I just didn't start this book sooner than I did. 




Bri and Quinn ,  everything is perfect until one day he just changes into someone she doesn't recognize.  Confused and scared she doesn't know what to do and ends up finding about her own family isn't what she thought they were.  This book seriously was a roller coaster ride of fun, drama,  hot smexy action and those hot kisses Belinda is known for writing. 




I personally bounced back and forth between the male characters in this book I started out like Quinn a whole hell of a lot then bam , he turned into well lets just say even though I love bad boys, I just couldn't go with how he was with Bri.  Then came in Liam 'sigh' , he protects Bri like a man should and treats her like a man should.  Can you tell  I am Team Liam ? 




Pardon me while I shout or cuss ...... okay I did it silently but picture me screaming at my ereader just a little while ago. Belinda did it again!!  I am not sure whether I love her or hate her for her cliffhangers. Okay I still love her, but I am not sure I can handle being left hanging yet again.  This time I have to wait til 2013. So the world better not end on Friday or I am going to be so pissed. 




Anyway sorry for the rant, if you have read her other books, please I beg you to get this one. It was brilliantly done even with the agonizing cliffhanger.

Broken Promises was a fantastic book to read. The plot was absolutely brilliant, I have not come across a book like it ever!
I really liked Bri’s character, how determined she is to save her boyfriend Quinn no matter what danger she puts herself in along the way.
I was also secretly hoping that she would forget about Quinn and get it on with Liam while saving the world.

I was hooked to the book from the very beginning, it was very well written and I cannot wait for book 2 to come out.

Belinda Boring, you wicked writer. This is a story filled will all the things that make people love romance novels. It's steamy, unpredictable and a unique storyline. I love how you presented a different perception of Fae. The passion between the characters Bri and Quinn is palpable and will leave more than one woman wishing she could find a love that intense.

I stayed up two nights in a row unable to stop reading just to find out what happens next. **Spoiler Alert** I had to know if Bri would be able to save the Quinn she once knew despite how horrible he becomes. I mean I really started to hate this guy. At least once I wished I was Liam when he tazered the guy. He really deserved to get his butt kicked. Then you left me hanging.

Ms. Boring tell me you are coming out the the second book soon. I need to know. The situation seems so hopeless. There has to be a way out and I need to know how the Guardians save the day...if they can.

BTW, amazing story. The characters are believable and complex. The storyline is compelling. The terror inflicted on the human race left me desperate to know the outcome. Bravo! Another great tale.

Fantastic!

This was a great story with plenty of action, suspense, humor, and romance. The characters are interesting and the storyline is exciting. The author does a beautiful job of crafting this well-written story. I was interested and curious the whole way through. The ending is a cliffhanger to the next book, and for a book of this length, I personally prefer a real ending. However, I still loved it and am anxious to read the rest of the story. It’s definitely a five star book!

Absolutely Wonderful!!!

Belinda Boring draws the readers in from the start!!! She does the sexy scenes that make you want to be Bri and she also does it with out going into detail. She is a great writer of this generation and I can't wait to read more from her!!
