    9 book series

Broken Sky is a 9 book series with an intricate plot revolving around the twin worlds. The most fascinating thing I found in the series was the use of the stones implanted in the body shortly after birth to manipulate the elements. I highly recommend this series as a delightful read to any who are interested in the fantasy genre. I read it once when I was twelve years old and thoroughly enjoyed it, but upon reading it once more as an adult, found that I could still enjoy it and take the theme of the tale to a whole new level. Chris wooding is truly a skilled author and he takes this series to the golden ranks of fantasy.

    Loved It

I loved this book, and the whole series as well I started reading them when I was twelve and I couldn't put them down until I got every issue, I have just recently reread them and am wondering if there is any book after the 6th? Though I doubt it because most of the important characters die at the end of the 6th one

    Escape the Evil

Can you imagine having a huge Golem attacking you for some playtime with your sister? That¿s every-day life in Kia and Ryushi¿s world; training in life threatening situations because of their own powers is no sweat to these kids. This story is about two teens trying to find where they belong in life and what is so mysterious about their family? Ryushi is a sixteen-year-old boy that loves to fight; this warrior trains with his twin sister Kia. She is a warrior and can change earth into golems to fight with Ryushi. Some of the magical things in this story were awesome as much from Huge Golems to deformed spiders others were spirit stones the stones imbedded in the persons back, these give that person energy and different powers. Wyvern¿s are awesome these dragon like beasts are massive and ready to fight with. The king, King Macaan has armies of these specially trained to fight they are called War Wyverns. The lights back then were called glowstones; these mysterious stones give off a bluish glow for in the night. I would completely recommend this book to anyone and everyone who likes a good fantasy! You might want to get #2 also because it leaves you at a cliffhanger at the end I loved this book and I will probably read it again.

Broken Sky review book # 1 By Chris Woodling

Broken Sky is a book-based apon a boy named Ryushi and a girl named Kia who are brother and sister, they live in an area covered by mountains and forests called Osaka Stud. They have the ability to use mystical stones which are sealed into their spine that give them the power of earth, water, and wind. Their father goes away on business trips every so often, this time he happened to come back with a little girl. Whose name is Elani who appears to be a little girl, but seems to act too mature for her age. But as Elani stays something happens to their dad in a twisting and turning story Ryushi, Kia and Elani will never be the same again. I would rate this book on a scale of 1 to 10, an 8. It has some great action scenes involving dragon like creatures to one on one combat. Also it gives some good detailed and descriptive history of each of the characters as the plot unfolds. I wouldn¿t give it higher than an eight because the story is good but not great. It seems at times to take a backseat to the fights and action scenes to that of a movie. But overall I enjoyed the book and will soon be reading some of its other books in the series. As I'm thinking that the first book may have just taken a back seat of actual story, to engross the reader to later give them a great and compelling story.

    Broken Sky part 1

Broken sky part 1 is the first part of the Broken Sky series. It is an excellent fantasy story about teenage twins called Kia and Ryushi who are growing up on a farm where Dragons are bred. The story is very fast moving and easy to get into and comes to a cliffhanger climax that leaves you begging for more. I recomand it to fans of fantasy adventures.

This must be one of my favorite books. You get a really good feel for the characters, and the first chapter really grabs you.In one of my school book orders, I saw the second and third books. My best friend said that he had the first one, and gave it to me. WhenI saw the books in the book order I thought, SWEET!! It's anime style!

    Like a Magnet

This book was excellent. I want to elaborate on it a little, so stay with me. I usually stay out of the children's section. But, somehow I was wandering in the section and even the book COVER caught my eye. The art matches the descriptions in the book to the detail! Now how often does that happen? Ususally, the artist and the author don't work together so wonderfully. Anyway, the story pulled me in right away. The very first sentence was like a magnet to me. I couldn't put the book down. The action was so vivid and I related to Ryushi and Kia right away. I felt their pain and misery, along with their joy and thirst for revenge. Buy this book, and you won't regret stepping into another world!

    Sweetness

This book is great. It has action, fantasy, and a new fighting system that I haven't seen in any other book. I have to give 50% of this books greatness to the illustrations. They were fantastic. This book makes you keep reading and reading and reading. The one mistake with this book is the Shortness of it. You have to get the next series novel right away. Other wise, it's GREAT!!!
