Why do I keep buying these?

I bought the original series and now I am buying the adult series and I get more angry with each installment. I haven't written a book, so I can't say with certainty that anything I put to paper would be a supreme piece of editing. But this book has so many glaring errors that I just can't look past them anymore. The plot is twisted and convoluted, the "adult" scenes are rather tame, the dialogue is wooden, continuity errors abound, and I am tired of shelling out even small increments of money to finish the series, assuming it isn't another rushed cliffhanger-ish ending. I don't plan on reading the next one.

I really want this series to end...

I wish the author would finish this series, the last two installments including this one were a little disappointing. In this one the whole book is centered around one event, that never really happens, I'm losing interest here, don't see any reason to drag it out if nothing constructive to the original plot is going to be revealed.
