    Shining Stones

The Shining Stones are large, silver boulders. They are at the center of a pond, which has many fish and river crabs in it. The stones are always warm, even in the dead of leafbare. Cats can hang out, hunt, and bask in the sun here.

One of the best books I have ever read

I recently read this amazing book by Khalil Gibran. A novel that touched my heart and left me stunned. Never before, had I read such a captivating love story which according to many people, is Gibran's own story of his unsuccessful love with either Salma Karama or Hala. The powerful plot of this novel and Salma Karama¿s character will leave you breathless. The magic of Gibran's words is just awesome. I wish I knew Arabic so that I could read his work in the original language, as translation never does justice to the writer. But if the translated text is such a great reading pleasure, I can¿t even imagine the beauty of the original text. Gibran¿s artistry through words can not be explained in words as they can not incorporate Gibran's wisdom and imagination.

One of the best Love Stories EVER written!!!!!

Romantic, tragic, artistc, hautingly beautiful, is just some of the many ways I can describe Gibran's mastery in the 'Broken Wings'. One of the best love stories ever written, Gibran's passion resonates through the core of the readres heart like a dagger through firewood. One day, it is my dream, to set on a pilgrimage to Gibrans Tomb in Lebanon, and read The Broken Wings. They say that tears are a cleanser to the soul and I say that the Broken Wings is a mental Tune Up....
