Brooklyn Dodger Days

Brooklyn Dodger Days

by Richard Rosenblum

Editorial Reviews

School Library Journal - School Library Journal
Gr 1-4--The author, obviously a Brooklyn Dodger fan, has related from his memory a day at the game with his best buddies back in 1946. This was a day when the Dodgers played the New York Giants, their arch rivals from across the river. The illustrations are much more colorful and animated than the text, which consists of naming his friends and the players, walking to the game, eating, watching, catching a ball in the stands, the Dodgers winning, and going home. There's not much here to hold a young baseball fan's interest. --Blair Christolon, Prince William Library, Manassas, VA
